The pride of West Springfield, Massachusetts, LHP Chris Capuano, faces new Angels starter Jeff Weaver in a game that will be available with Bob and Jim on WTMJ with Wisconsin's NCAA basketball loss Friday night.

At noon Central, Jim Powell will host a Talkin' Brewers according to the WTMJ site, for which we'll post a separate thread.

We have rain out here for the first time in 4 or 5 months by the way, and it's around 9 Wisconsin time.

We have a good chance of T-Storms all day and it is a bit gusty out there.

I know some of you are disappointed but we Arizonans REALLY need the rain.

I'm especially looking forward to the weather, since it is supposed to snow! Yay!

I'm headed out to AZ on sunday too, but I can bet the rain was needed. I've heard 50s tomorrow, 60s for most of the week and then 80s on thursday, friday.

i'll take that.

It will actually be MUCH NICER because of the rain. The desert will be very happy. The Maryvale groundskeepers will be happy. Everyone should be happy about this.

Arizona needed the rain big time. Phoenix hadn't seen rain in 143 days...it is getting quite dusty around here, especially with the wind that has been howling makes working outside quite unpleasant.
