If Daron had a dollar for every time he said "The Brewers come up empty" this year, he'd be retired to the Bahamas by now.

I suppose I'm just really naive to wonder why Cap is still in the game.

EDIT: Well, that's that. A tip of the cap to Cap for a fine effort this year (even though he ran low on fuel a few starts ago).

Apparenly, we're keeping him in to get him the win, according to Bill. He's been at his worst today. Get Nomar? Keep in Cappy to get him the win? Really? We're more concerned about getting Cappy win number 19 (not 20) than getting the Brewers win number 82? I doubt it.

Laura~ You're not the only one. Unless of course, you're wondering that -after- he's actually finally been pulled.

Sweet Jeebus, Bill- "Brady's probably not going to be able to get to that 200 hit mark this season"

Probably not, Bill? You don't think he's going to get 18 hits today?

Yipe.

Bill Schroeder should be posting to the drunk thread.

Apparently, it's a very, very good thing I'm listening to the game on the radio and not having to hear Bill Schroeder. Sounds like he's really lost it today.

We are # 1 in "medical personnel", not to mention stadium rankings etc.... I really don't think the Red Sox, yankees, Cards etc... are too concerned with that...

team wise...average to above at every position is the Brewers...definately need to improve bench.... I think the pitching is in very good hands with what we have now...assuming all are healthy next year... keep Ohka..don't make changes ONLY to make changes...Washburn no... DO NOT GET RID OF THE SLICK FIELDING OVERBAY FOR A TERRIBLE AND UNPROVEN FIELDER (fielder). Big mistake to switch Fielder for Overbay.... CUT the losses for Carlos Lee. That was the quietest 30+ homer 114 rbi season ever...especially for the $$$$. Quit saying how great Dana Eveland is...way overrated....

Even the new improved G-Love is powerless against the scurvy dog Jack Wilson. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
