well, Berman is doing the Braves/Phillies game tonight, so that's a bullet dodged. Brantley's with him, who is no prize himself, but that still leaves Sutcliffe unaccounted for. I have a bad feeling about this.

 

 

Also, someone on page 1 appears to be implying that the Brewers often lose because Russ is in the lineup. You can't possibly be serious, can you?

I live in Milwaukee and the cable/ch info feature says that the game will be carried on both ESPN and FSN (subject to blackout on ESPN).

 

Last night it did not say this.

Speaking of Point, do they still make Bubs? We drank it in college once in a while in the late 70's when you could get 3 cases for $10. Loved the Bubs slogan: "makes it fun to be thirsty!"

according to my program guide, ESPN HD will carry the brewers after the ATL/PHI game. the big question is will they carry the non-HD broadcast with the bars (like is on now with the ATL/PHI game), or will they utilize the FSN HD broadcast?

I have been on the brewery tour 7 times from my undergraduate years until now spanning approximately 11 years and never saw any Bubs lying around. Sorry Bub.

Go with the Point 6-0 with it you can't go wrong. On a side note Point is a great and underated beer. A bunch of my buddies from Oshkosh and myself got hooked on it and drink it a lot. All of there flavors are good; Point Special, Point Honey, Point Amber, they are all awesome beers. Go Brewers! Go Point!

C'mon guys, Russ hasn't played in what seems like a week. Cut the guy a little slack.

 

Personally I'm getting sick of the "I'm going to hate Russell Branyan just because some posters here like him" train of thought. It's immature. I don't mean to open a can of worms here, but there is no reason to hate on any of our players, much less one that is rather effective.

I was fooled by tonight's game time, since it was pushed back for ESPN. Here I tuned in to WTMJ 620 and had to hear the Big Unit on his soap box for some topic that I couldn't even pick up. I couldn't agree or disagree with the guy since I didn't know what he was talking about, but it was still painful.

 

Alright, his exit music has started...onto the pre-game.
