Wahoo!!! No power or internet lost tonight. Heck, I didn't even know storms raced through, I was in class until 7. Turned on TMJ and they were listing all of the places without power.

I'm pumped for this series. Cappy going for #17...who was the last Brewer pitcher to get 17 wins? Eldred? ...Brewers playing for .500 in MID SEPTEMBER!!!...I just hope tonight they don't hit one of those nights where a guy with a sky high ERA looks like a Cy Young winner.

The FSN guys said it was Jamie Navarro in 1992.

As long as I'm at it I'll check baseball-reference.com....

Navarro went 17-11 with a 3.33 ERA. He pitched 246 innings, threw 5 complete games, 3 shutouts, walked 64, and struck out 100.

Bill- "That's a Right fielder's ball."

Well, it fell almost exactly evenly between where they were playing, and it was actually in centerfield, so I don't think it was that cut and dried.

Bill,

Wouldn't Chad Tracy's greatest value be at 3B rather than 1B?

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.
