It seems now Carlos or Jenkins could garner a number 1 or 2 starter for next year in a trade

"that's not true at all."

You couldn't get a Matt Morris type for Jenkins or Lee? I thought a 35 hr 100 rbi guy or a .295 25 hr guy would garner that much.

Fun fact to chew on:

It is possible that all three guys that have hit homers today will be dealt this off season.

I am glad to see JJ's numbers start to mirror his talent. I have no doubt in my mind that JJ is at LEAST a .280 career hitter. With his swing he is going to put up numbers. He has his detractors but a long time ago this year I compared his swing to.....drumroll please......Albert Pujols. Does he have the power of Albert? No, but as far as keeping the bat level through the entire plane of the swing, Albert and JJ are about the best I have seen this year. I dont expect JJ to put up 1.000 OPS years any time soon but with a swing like he has the numbers will come. I am excited about JJ but also a bit worried that he is going to end up with a better average than Weeks, which would be sort of depressing.

sweep, I dont thing those guys would get a top two rotation guy; maybe they could if we pick up salary or put in a couple more guys... an overbay and clark

I hope Melvin can do something inventive. If we had one more top rotation guy... the sky is the limit for us.

Scoop: Notice a change in Jenks swing since the break? I think he's leveled it off more, even when he's not swinging his nine iron

well, it is 4:20 am, work calls in 3 hours, i'm hitting the hay...maybe our New Zealand friend will be just tuning in about now

can I leave a 5 run lead in your guys hands

now I am getting excited about cappy getting to 20 wins... 16 today

I just wish THIS was the .500 game; I know it does not matter 81 or 83 wins... but darnit... maybe it DOES

I share the same thoughts, we need one more front end starter. I probably was too ambition hoping for a 1 but hopefully we'd be close to getting a nice 2 or 3 with Jenkins or Lee.

sweepscc, Morris is a free agent I'd sign in a heartbeat. Not sure who else is Matt Morris-like, but maybe for Lee, I doubt for Jenkins

now that is a rotation to get excited about if it comes to fruition. I haven't been this energized about a Brewers offseason in a long time.

if only we could find ways to spread out our runs a bit more...i'd gladly take 3 of these runs to boost last nights score...4 homers today for the crew, wow.

Jenkins with 12 RBI in September already. If he continues to hit at this pace, he could reach 100. I doubt he gets to 100, but if he finishes the year .290, 25 HR and 90 RBI, that would be an unbelievable turn around.
