Are there any free agent third base coaches available in the offseason?

I'd have to agree there. I realize his aggressiveness has maybe won a game or two but you can't try and squeak out one more run with the meat coming up with a couple guys on, in the 3rd inning.

Donnely is one of the best 3rd base coaches you've ever seen????? Are you kidding!!! If our speed causes us to get thrown out at home, then why send them???

russ, what does the graph prove... I stick to my espn splits team ranking

Brewers 14th in NAT with RISP

Brewers 9th in NAT overall (take away the RISP and you will have 7th, I guess for runners NOT isp)

Bad back and all Jenks just keeps on hitting. Another RBI single, with a man in scoring position nonetheless. Unbelievable, considering the first half he had to be hitting .293 now is pretty impressive, even if he does strikeout too much and look horrible in doing so at times.

pretty impressive for the bats not to take the night off after the 4 run 2nd. a four run lead is MUCH nicer than a three.

This is a guy that went from many here wanting to DFA him or trade him to the first team offering up a warm body to nearly unarguably being the MVP of this team since July. Someone here says overpaid bum, I say Go Geoff, team leader. Baseball is a game of streaks...something many don't seem to realize.

Jenkins up-ing his trade value, I like it. And Carlos is hitting better of late. It seems now Carlos or Jenkins could garner a number 1 or 2 starter for next year in a trade. I'd prefer Jenkins to be traded but either way they both are becoming more valuable heading into the offseason.

Moeller gets in on the act with a HR!

Not saying this game is over or anything, but I think it safe to say that Moeller has officially taken over the "I only hit HRs when we are being slaughtered or have a comfortable lead" title from Jenkins and Helms.

I wish that were true. But I am sure it is not. Mind you, do the Mets have anyone on offer. How they gave up Kazmir for a number 4 starter is beyond me.

yeah, but the problem is that if he's truly figured "it" out, we can't afford to deal a guy capable of hitting .300 with 35 homers.

that's not true at all. No team would deal one of the top 20 pitchers in the game for a player who might be lucky to be among the top 30 OF's in the game, especially since OFs are a lot easier to find than SPs

Hardy with his 3rd base hit of the game.
