I love how all these weekend night games aren't on TV thanks to the preseason Packer games. I also love the fact the Brewers get bumped to a radio station I can barely get! Hooray!

Who'd want to see Ben Sheets pitch anyways?

I dont know about you but I cant wait to hear Laravee and McCarren call the JT O'Sullivan to Terrance Murphy TD pass tonight.

There is nothing as exciting as preseason football.

Didn't want to litter the ML forum with a cross-post, but I think some people might find this interesting. Brewers Offense vs. Quality of Pitching (Are the Brewers good against good pitching and bad against bad pitching?) For today's game, they're 13-15 at outperforming league scoring average against pitchers with ERAs similar to Ramirez...

The game is on TBS, so I'll be flipping back and forth between the Pack and the Brewers.

TBS games are always blacked out when the Braves come to town.

Ummm...of next month?

That would be a rather long 15-day DL stint, wouldn't it?

Sounds like whenever they're healthy they'll be back.

Milwaukeebrewers.com claims that the radio broadcast tonight will be on 620, but I assume that is incorrect.

What's the backup station for the Milwaukee area? I'm sure by the time we leave Madison and can get TMJ without interference, that they will be knee deep in Packer pregame.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Great. I wouldn't watch a regular season Packer game over the Brewers and now we get screwed by the equivalent of JV pro football.

I guess I'll stick to the radio and watch MLB Extra Innings games tonight.

I agree with you burnie - I always get glares when I say I'd watch a meaningless Brewers game in September over a Packers game - I mean I love the Packers too, but baseball will always have my heart.

Luckily for me I have directv so they don't usually black out TBS.

Not really--Time Warner will likely have it blacked out. DirecTV and Dish are less liekly to have soemone on the switch since they have more thigns they have to deal with.

I understand FSN not carring the game on a Friday home game, the Brewers would want more fans in the stands and not televising it brings more people to the aprk.

I do not understand however, why the -Milwaukee- Brewers get bumped from their normal radio channel for a pre season -Green Bay- Packer game, especially when the Brewers are still in the WC hunt. I get sort of ticked about it just like most of you and I can't understand WTMJ's logic they are using.

I suppose that this being a "football state" is to blame. I hope that as the Brewers improve, so will their coverage.

Anyhow, with Sheets on the hill I'd fully expect a victory for us this evening.
