I'm watching on mlb.tv. Here is my summary: He threw a pitch a foot behind Chipper Jones and in the dirt. Then he motioned for the trainer and held his wrist(or elbow?)

Thanks, Erik.

This is just about the worst thing that could happen to the Brewers. I feel sick.

Be okay, Ben.

Can we please get a old priest, a young priest, a voodoo priest, and a medicine man to please remove this curse of guys gettin big contracts only to blow out arms please.

Its ok to hope for the best, but I think we all better expect the worst. My money is on Sheets not pitching for the Brewers anytime before next July or so.

Bob was saying that he might have tried to get too far on top of the curve + put a little extra spin on it, and just popped the shoulder

Honestly, he was throwing normally and then just grimaced and started cussing up a storm.

The trainer sprinted out at full speed and they started stretching him out.

There was obviously something seriously wrong.

It looked like the shoulder because when he tried to lift his arm above his head it just wasn't possible.

They are showing a swing in the bottom of the inning where he grimaced but that appeared to be his back (again)

I don't know whether that leads to hoope, that it just might be his normal back problems

Kane Davis did seem an odd choice. Maybe Ned figured that if he put him in quickly enough, it would be Davis that was injured instead of Sheets.

they just showed sheets swinging earlier in the game and grimacing immediately after. looks like he may have stretched something out in the back on that at bat. my guess is top back of the shoulder - whatever muscle that is - that maybe it's just stretched or pulled a bit.

and kane davis stinks.

This is it. Remember this moment. It is rock bottom in the history of Brewer Baseball. Nothing can be as bad as this. THe moment Helling moves up to #4. and Santos replaces Sheets in the rotation. The moment our 2006 playoff hopes have been shattered. Nothing could be worse. It can only get better. Hopefully by tomorrow, it will be just a strain...
