Is it just me or is Rickie striking out at an astronomocal rate? I know he feels a heavy burden since our offense sucks and he has the power to homer on every given AB, but yikes.

Well, he is getting pounded away over and over. The difference between major league pitching a AAA pitching is the major leaguers are hitting their spots. He doesn't seem to cover the outside portion of the plate. They are pitching him like the hitter he is. A dead pull hitter right now. Would crowding the plate or getting a longer bat help?
