So we leave the bases loaded last inning, Vic gets squeezed big time to the Pujols, Edmonds, and Walker on a few pivotal pitches and then forgets how to pitch all together.

 

Man I hate playing the Cardinals. Just when you think you're sailing along, Pujols comes up with two outs and they end up rallying for 2, 3, 4 runs or whatever.

 

But fear not, Bill "or I should say" Schroeder says this is gonna be a slugfest so don't go away!

Winning 2 of 3 isn't out of the question whe you have Sheets, Davis, and Cappy going in those games.

Really nice to see a bunt attempt by Durington with 1 out and down by 4 runs.

 

Hardy's last 3 AB resulted in hits from ground balls that found a hole. I guess his luck is averaging out. He's also 17 points from a .600 OPS. Gatta start somewhere!

I don't like sac bunts in general, I especially don't like them with 1 out and down by 4. I just don't get it.

 

I believe that was a poor attempt at a bunt for a base hit.

True, but I think we can all agree that if we don't win tomorrow we'll be heading to Cincy with one or less wins in St. Louis.
