Yeah, if they choose to ignore the fact that otherwise he was 2/4 with 2 runs and 2 rbi and two doubles on the day...

I smell that this is once again the Pirates sticking a fork in our season. They gave us hope right up until the 7th inning of the final game. This is sickening.

I think Lloyd Mclendon is an idiot, but you have to like how he's using his closer in the eighth inning here. Take notes, Ned.

A 1-2-3 eighth might have been better. Now it may come down to Hall's position in the order. Lee will not be given a chance to win the game, that's for sure.

Well mesa hasn't been used in days. Kind of a no brainer. Kinda like putting in a little used bullpen long reliever when you have a huge lead and your starter is laboring.....

Except I don't think I WANT Turnbow in high leverage situations. Wise is EASILY our best reliever, he's the guy I want with tha ball in that situation.

 

Leadoff double... I'm done.
