Wow this offense is craptastic. Outside of Hall's Hr today and a pointless 9th inning Hr by Jenks Sunday we have gone 2 1/2 games w/o manufacturing a run.

It seems like every week we add another spot in out lineup that we can not count on.

 

When the season started it was 8(Hardy) and 9(pitcher)

 

Then by about May it had turned into 7(catcher)-8-9

 

Sometime about Mid May it was evident that 6(jenkins)-7-8-9 were automatic outs

 

And now, in Late June we can just about add 5(overbay)-6-7-8-9.

 

It really is a head scratcher that we are last in the league in offense.

Is it me or does this team live and die with el caballo? I mean Billy and Brady are pretty solid this year, but if Carlos isn't doing much that day, we are in trouble. This by no means is a rip on Carlos, but more of a commentary about how much we rely on him. I think he is awesome, but just needs to be complimented by another rbi threat.
