The game is also the alternate game on ESPN. It is on Directv channel 210. Greg Papa and Tony Gwynn are the announcers, they also did last night's game for ESPN2. For people who need a break from Sutton-Schroeder this is a good alternative. This is a much quieter broadcast.

 

Gwynn was saying early in the game how Thompson has a delivery that would be easy for a left-hander to see, and that Thompson's stuff may be more effective against righthanders. Nice to hear some true analysis. They are also having a Ben Sheets love fest.

Does anyone have this stat? I think that Moeller has hit into more DPs than he has hits. I have never seen anyone, ever, who has killed more innnings than Moeller.

Thanks for the stats on the double play. I guess my thought on Moeller killing innings has to do with the fact that it seems like he almost drives in runs. Plus, there was that game in Washington when he struck out 3 times with runners in scoring position. When the pitcher is on deck you have to do with that out.
