And Doug Davis has been okay - 8 K so far in 6 IP.

I have to admit that Doug Melvin did pretty good with that signing. The guy's for real, IMO.

Hopefully the brewers will bring him back next season to earn a spot in the rotation.

Agreed. Davis is a legit #3 starter. Possibly even a #2. He was lights-out for us this year.

Does anyone know Davis' contract status? Can he walk at the end of the year?

I believe he can walk at the end but can't believe Melvin will allow that.

but i sure one of the guys in the know will update us
