09/04/2004 - Brewers (Hendrickson) vs. Reds (Hancock)

The two looking strikeouts were pitches he probably rarely sees in AAA. One was a heater in and one was a perfect heater at the knees away (appeared outside, but too close to take). Still, I agree.

That is the beauty of letting Krynzel have a go. The guy has proved he can lift his game at each level he ups to - just like Corey Hart.

So, isnt it great he will start his learning curve in September.

It is pretty interesting the last couple of starts by Hendrickson. It is a bit of proof you dont make a guy rot at AAA until his era is under 1.

Why does Viz pitch with a 5 run lead? Isnt Viz the most used guy so far this year?

Congrats to Ben Hendrickson on his 1st ML win. Here's to many, many more!!

Congrats to Ben Hendrickson on his 1st ML win

And congrats to Krynzel for his 1st hit. So that's two firsts for two guys who have been teammates in Huntsville, Indy, Arizona (Fall League) and now in Milwaukee. Congrats,....it's kind of neat to share their special day. I'm sure they're hoisting a few tonight

Just like I predicted, Hendrickson has returned to the bigs a different pitcher. While Batman wanted Hendrickson to stay in the bigs and get his confidence completely crushed, Melvin and Yost knew better. A couple of minor league starts to replenish his confidence, and now Hendrickson has returned a new man.

You must be absolutely joking, X. That has nothing to do with him going back down to Indy at ALL. He has more or less improved every time out, as many of us suspected anyway. To say he improved by going down and tossing a couple more 2-hit shutouts is absurd.
