Anybody else feel like a man who hits like Lyle should lead the league in doubles AND triples?

Someone asked Jenkins why Overbay led the league in doubles earlier this year. Jenkins answer was "He's too slow to lead the league in triples."

Besides, I don't know if there is a record in MLB much harder to break than 36 triples in a season. At least we can dream of Overbay's 68th double.

"It works well in Boston, 'cause Varitek catches four of the five starters and Mirabelli only catches Wakefield. The fact that he is a knuckleballer is important, obviously, but I think that type of setup still works nicely (the Braves used it for years with Maddux' personal catcher, Eddie Perez)."

Maddux still gets his own personal catcher, this year it's Paul Bako in Chicago. Barrett catches everyone else.

Can anyone tell me what happened with Jenkins at bat with the error? I just have Gameday up.

Flyball to deep center that was dropped.

Basically the OF muffed a fly ball, had Jenkins been really running he might've had an inside-the-parker

Helms rules.

Holy crappy pitching, Batman.

Riddle me this, riddle me that. Who's afraid of the big, black bat?

I sure hope Pittsburgh is willing to wear "Rockies" uniforms for the weekend.

Maybe we can hang some mountain pics on those buildings.
