Anybody else feel like a man who hits like Lyle should lead the league in doubles AND triples?

 

Someone asked Jenkins why Overbay led the league in doubles earlier this year. Jenkins answer was "He's too slow to lead the league in triples."

 

Besides, I don't know if there is a record in MLB much harder to break than 36 triples in a season. At least we can dream of Overbay's 68th double.

Basically the OF muffed a fly ball, had Jenkins been really running he might've had an inside-the-parker

It looked like a deep fly to center, but the ball kept carrying and bounced off Preston Wilson's glove. 3-base error. 2 runs score. No RBIs for Jenks.
