I'll give Victor some credit. Like Sheets, he's basically having to do this without his curve. That thing was nasty in Minnesota last week. I got no problem going after Helton with no one on and an 8-1 lead.

This game is moving like pond water! Hopefully, we'll get out of Denver before 9PM CST.

 

Actually, its not horrible, 4 and 1/2 innings in 1 hour and 40 minutes. I guess it just feels like it moving slower than it really is.

Good point End. Ned probably is going to go with a Wise/Kinney duo in Game 2. So get Kiesch up? Haven't seen him in awhile either. Santos is at 71 pitches. I imagine he could still gives us 2 more if need be.
