Kudos to Corey (20/20 club)

Lost in the shuffle to some last night was the fact that Corey Hart joined the 20/20 club with his 20th homerun.

Shouldn't there at least be a tip of the Brewers cap to him,a raising of the glass of Miller,or something to recognize the feat?

If nothing else, it's a decent start on his career,he's exceeded my expectations this year, and I don't recall many Brewers in recent memory accomplishing this somewhat humble feat.

30/30 is probably out of the question,or is it?

I think he can definitely do 30-30, not this year, but in the future. The 30 steals for sure.

Powell mentioned it on the radio last night, I think the last to do 20-20 was Burnitz in '97 or something.

Thank you for starting this thread on a very under appreciated ball player. CH has done all that has been asked of him for this ball club. Different spot in the batting order; no problem; move around the OF; again no problem. Tip of the cap to Corey.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/wink.gif

Also, somewhere recently I heard the Corey has been MVP on several teams he has been on, ie; college,A ball, AAball,AAAball. Kinda shows, this year for him is not a fluke.

Also worthy of note is that this is a goal Corey set for himself in spring training. Congratulations are in order indeed.

30 / 30 seems a stretch; 25 / 25 do-able.

<----- That's my boy! Lets not forget his glove out in the field. He has made some great catches this year. Looking forward to watching him for a long time.

I hope they can keep Corey in the 5 hole. I've always thought he had a bunch of potential, but flew under the radar due to playing on the same teams as Prince and Rickie.

I know his glove is pretty good, but his defense could improve a bit. If that is my only worry with him, I guess we have something solid here. Don't forget he's been moved all around defense wise (1B, 3B, OF).

I love the fact that our fastest player is as tall as Corey.

The last (and only) Brewer to 30/30 was Tommy Harper in 1970. Besides he, Burnitz, and Grissom, Robin Yount also had a 20/20 season for the Brewers.

And he's done it all in spite of his lazy elbow.
