He's a guy that will be in the discussion for best hitting 1B in the central within the next couple years. Every team in the central is gonna have a stud there but the Pirates.

Suppan is a worthless piece of garbage and his contract is an absolute albatross for this organization. So we wouldnt pay Doug Davis 3 yr/21 mil but Suppan gets 4 at 42. Absolutely brilliant decision.

I don't like the Suppan signing but Davis hasn't been as good as Suppan this year, the Diamondbacks just have a much better defense than we do.
