9/26/07: Cubs (Marquis) at Marlins (Barone) 6:05 PM CT

[iluvlamp]

Yeah, that could have been a better inning. I'll take it though.

[bthurley19]

Cabrera looked like he swung at 3 pitches at his knees according to gameday. Still nice inning, hopefully Barone can recover and get a scoreless inning here.

[Oldcity]

Looks like another Cubs shootout. Funny how that seems to happen when Jason Marquis pitches.

[iluvlamp]

Double play..looked hard hit again though...

[Oldcity]

What is Bob Brenly talking about? "Clearly got back in time."

It was a bang-bang play.

I noticed some watching by gameday. If you have DISH network, the game is on 429. Comcast Sports Net

They obviously are under the impression bang-bang plays are supposed to go against the 'crew. http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/happy.gif

[brewers255]

4-3 Derek Lee with a homer.

[iluvlamp]

Come on Barone! Disgusting!

[thablingster]

Yeah, this Barone dude isn't very good. lol

[iluvlamp]

Anyone know if the Marlins bullpen is decent or garbage?

[JoeH33]

What the deuce!

[thablingster]

Barone will be lucky to last 6 innings at this rate. Probably more like 5.

[thablingster]

59 pitches through 3.

[SeriesFinale]

Phew, I was definitely expecting the Ramirez dong there

Keep it up, Fish Sticks...your SP isn't gonna do it tonight it looks like

[brewers255]

Marlins bullpen is there strength. They have 7 guys with a ERA under 4.0 They have several 1.0-2.0 type era's and Bill said yesterday that the marlins strength is the bullpen.

[JET15]

Anyone know if the Marlins bullpen is decent or garbage?

They're ranked 2 ahead of us at 18 in the MLB. Nothing like the #1 ranking we will see with SD

[brewers255]

Linden with a double. Good start.

[thablingster]

Florida's bullpen is middle of the road. 4.09 ERA, 27-28 record, third most used bullpen in baseball (561 innings pitched).

[naivin]

I'm thinking the Cubs are gonna win this one.

[thablingster]

Well there goes the lead. Tied up at 4.

[thablingster]

If Soriano hits a HR here I will be angry, lol.

Great, now a guy with an ERA of 10 is pitching *headdesk*

[lcbj68c]

BIG K Two out.. Come on Fish strand em!

[berniebrewer4life]

Marlins score! YES!!!!!

[Team Canada]

Yes! 2-out clutch hit!
