Fun with temperatures right now:

Indianapolis: 53 F

Chicago: 49 F

Milwaukee: 42 F

Madison: 19 F

La Crosse: 3 F

Minneapolis: -6 F

International Falls: -12 F

St. Louis also recorded a drop from 70 F to 35 F in 3 hours...and they are expected to fall to about 10 F tonight. Now that is a drop!

Anyone know of an official or somewhat official listing of business closings?

This is just nasty, and my branch is supposed to be open until 7pm.

If I had Braun's pee in my fridge I'd tell everybody.

Over here in Eau Claire they closed the colleges and pretty much any other store in the area. Pretty nasty out if you ask me.

I'm in Omro (by Oshkosh) and it is pure crap...
You got that right. Oh, you meant the weather.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

are you working right now? If so, just ask a manager.

I am working right now, and at my branch I'm the manager. My other managers won't close us unless other area businesses are closing.

So considering that I work for a financial, what's the over-under on people saying "Man it sucks that you guys have to be here...but i'm glad you are!" http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif ?

I'm still not getting anything in Hartland. I feel so left out.

How can you not be getting anything in Hartland, I am just off 83 and Golf Rd, and something is coming out of the sky with lots of wind.

Do you live in Hawks Nest?

The weather people are right on again for the storm in the Milwaukee area. Just cold and wind in Delafield.

This is the oddest January I can remember.

We've had a day that was just about 60 degrees, wet show, dry fluffy snow, rain, hail, sleet, a tornado, and now we have wind gusts of up to 50 mph and wind chills of -20.

Maybe that's why I have a head cold.

This state is nuts. I gotta move.

I laugh at the fact that 38 for an overnight low here is REALLY cold. Aaahh....winter in Texas.

Enjoy the humid, 105 degree summers. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

As long as I don't have to endure shovelling snow, driving in snow, negative temperatures, 4 seasons of weather in one day, and all the other joys that come with living in Wisconsin, Texas will be a breeze. Especially San Antonio

-1 here in Wausau with a -25 wind chill. Blowing snow everywhere. Schools are already closed for tommorow in our area. Stay safe if you are going anywhere tonight or tommorow morning.

I just looked out the front window. I see ice everywhere, and a bit of snow drifting. I see snow falling and it is blowing horizontally. It sounds like a train is running around my house.

It looks like the South Pole out there.

Global Warming? Not today folks.
