Radiohead, The Bends

Unbelievable album. One of my personal favorites.

A phenomenal album. I have been hooked on "In Rainbows" as of late.

In Rainbows was one of the best albums of last year, in my personal opinion. You really can't go wrong with anything post-Pablo Honey when it comes to Radiohead.

Brian Eno: "Another Green World"

I too have always enjoyed Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings. My one gripe with them is something that isn't their fault - I just get sort of bored by the monotony of the genre. On "100 Days, 100 Nights" I loved the first few tracks, liked the next handful and my mind is always somewhere else by the end even though it's only like 35 minutes long.

Good call on Black Mountain, NDOG. I have to remember to pick up their new one.

wow, good call on the Brian Eno. Another Green World is a fantastic album. Here Come The Warm Jets is also a favorite. Currently i'm listening to Stephen Malkmus' new album, Real Emotional Trash, which might be his best post-Pavement work.

When it comes to Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, I eat up all of it. Even (especially) Australia-only live albums that get released in a few days:

Neil Young & Crazy Horse: "Live Rust"

First time listening to the album all the way through in at least a very long time and quite possibly ever. Good stuff, not great stuff.

The best 1985 had to offer....

"I was flicking through the channels on the TV, on a Sunday in Milwaukee in the rain,
Trying to piece together conversations ... Trying to find out where to lay the blame"
