  1. As of today's game, Podsednik is hitting .143 and Vizcaino's ERA is at 6.75. All is right with the world.

  3. Helms should dye his hair red, so he can officially be the red-headed stepchild.
  4. [ Square, it'll be interesting to hear any statistics as to how much money a few of us more active visitors save the site simply by becoming EZsupporters. ] Since the call went out the EZSupporters, our 6-month-renewal price has actually _increated_ by about 30 dollars. Imagine what it would be like if some of our faithful users DIDN'T purchase ezSupporter. So if you're a die-hard lurker, why not un-lurk, pay your $12, and login as an ezSupporter?
  5. [ EZ Supporter makes guilt free posting EZ and fun!! ] You know, it's not posts that cost money, it's page views.
  6. [ way to go scoop. I should also mention my Dbacks fan buddy said that Lee would hit a 2b in the first, then homer later in the game, we'll see if it happens ] Got any lottery numbers?
  7. [ 3TO walks. I'm kinda disappointed ] Why? It was a true outcome.

  9. [ The game today is at 11:35 AM today, so don't wait up until midnight hoping to catch it. ] Cut & Paste strikes again!!
  10. I think the question is, who will get a hit first: Doug Davis or Ricky Bottalico?
  11. I've adjusted it.... i'm sure an hour from now, they'll "fix" it, and "unfix" what I just did.
  12. Doug Davis takes the mound and tries to keep the Brewers in 1st place in the NL Central. He has a 3.48 lifetime ERA vs. the Pirates and a 4.50 ERA at PNC in 16 innings. Kip Wells has fared pretty well against the Brewers over the last 3 years, with a 3.56 ERA, and has been even better at PNC, sporting a 3.35 ERA. Wells has been around for a while now, and it's hard to believe he's still only 27. 14. [ Huntsville's site reveals their roster in a similar format to that of Nashville's site, so this is part of the minorleaguebaseball.com umbrella of ways of displaying the data in a similar fashion across all (or at least most) team sites. ] Actually, it just so happens that Streamline Technologies is the company that created both huntsvillestars.com and nashvillesounds.com ... I'm not sure what the deal is with minorleaguebaseball.com. At first, I thought they were going to physically be the official websites for all of the minor league clubs (ala MLB), but now it just looks like they basically have mini-sites for each minor league team.
  15. I should post the email address of the hate-mailers, so we can tell them how much they suck at things.
  16. [ Now, it may be only coincidence, but doesn't it seem like every "hater" is a poor grammarian? ] I think your right.
  17. Another piece of impolite mail today: you guys need to update your power 50 blurbs! there all old. Also, why dont you have anything on your home page about the first game of the season.I like your guys stuff, but your slow as hell. Lets get with it!!!! Geez.
  18. This is the first year of his new contract, so the escalators wouldn't have kicked in yet. He did also get a 1M signing bonus, so this could be where the J/S gets its extra million from.
