GREAT at-bat by Gross, especially since the ump made him work with only two strikes on that horrible call. EDIT: I can't believe they're leaving Wainwright in there
We need to save Counsell for something? I'm always so confused. In case we get a lead, he has to be able to come in to play SS, so JJ can play LF & Braun can man 3B... duuuh
Yea, that pitch was not down the middle. I for one have been very impressed Count me in too -- Kendall's looked very quick & athletic tonight, with some solid throws. Imo, Melvin & Co. +1
'You've just got to get things started -- HIT & RUN!' ... whoops after a few waste pitches, watches a fastball right down the middle for strike 3 Down the middle -- are you watching the game, or watching Gameday? That was 90+ at the knees on the inside corner.
Wow -- not sure what I think is better tonight: Wainwright's stuff, or his feel for his stuff. He's pitching incredibly well. I still hate Gabe, he's garbage http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif
Man, Hart had a pitch to drive to RC there... wish he wouldn't have pulled it. Nice job to get on the board & get Wainwright off cruise control. ftlow: I think it's a bit of both. Gotta make that pitcher earn his outs. 8 or 9 pitches/inning is pathetic.
I wish Corey Hart were batting Bases loaded, two outs, down a run in the ninth...who would you rather have at the plate: Gabe Gross, Chad Moeller, or Wes Obermueller? Ditka.
Wow, someone should re-title this as the SuperFaith SuperFan IGT. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif (Directed at all the 'quit' quotes)
The Cardinals color commentator is an absolute moron. Wow. He's talking about how pitchers should not "pitch in pain", but "pitch with discomfort"... MORON
