Well, they haven't been in the mix at all, so all season seems doubtful.
  2. StearnsFTW
    You and your ridiculous facts.
  3. StearnsFTW
I have a lot of confidence that the Cardinals suck, as I have all year.
  4. StearnsFTW
And because the rest of the division stinks. I'll be shocked if the Cardinals win 85 games, but 84 may do it in this division.
  5. StearnsFTW
True. I'd take 3 WAR happily though.
  6. StearnsFTW
Over 5 on FanGraphs and pretty close to 5 on BBfref. Nit-picky, but still. At this pace he's a bargain at $26,000,000.
  7. StearnsFTW
The Cardinals pitching was not in the same realm as the Brewers' preseason. Like not at all.
  8. StearnsFTW
Cardinals 4.64 ERA 1.48 WHIP .281 BAA Only 18 games but those numbers are uuuuuuugly.
  9. StearnsFTW
It's Pujols for me and it's not even remotely close.
  10. StearnsFTW
First team to score wins. Two very good pitchers.
  11. StearnsFTW
My god what a rocket Chourio hit last night. Yowza.
  12. StearnsFTW
    All things being equal. Obviously.
  13. StearnsFTW
    I would prefer a win.
  14. StearnsFTW
Their pitching sucks. If everyone stays healthy, I think the Brewers win the division easily.
  15. StearnsFTW
Been talking about this for 6 months. Was hoping to land Chafin, but Britton would be a very good option.
  16. StearnsFTW
    Where do you find these?
  17. StearnsFTW
I think it is 4-5th highest. I also think he's the 2nd best catcher in baseball if not the best.
  18. StearnsFTW
Bottom line for me is that $12.5MM/year is damn cheap for a top-shelf Catcher.
  19. StearnsFTW
Agree on Contreras, but I think that Murphy deal is absolutely fantastic for the Braves. In a theoretical world, if the Braves called up and offered Murphy for Contreras I'd say yes and hang up before they changed their minds.

And you can't pay for any of it with cash. Which aggravates me to no end for a variety of reasons.
  21. StearnsFTW
So, you're going to stand by your statement that Counsell is a loser manager? Wanna clarify that in any way?
  22. StearnsFTW
    Maybe the best of things.
  23. StearnsFTW
Bullpen still worries me. I imagine they'll add there either via the minors or trade.
  24. StearnsFTW
He did it like 3 or 4 times. It was great.
  25. StearnsFTW
I assume this is some sort of joke I'm missing? Edit: I see it's not a joke, it's just a horrendous take.
