  1. Thanks. As someone who watched both there was no way that info was accurate. Now I know why. Cooper is clearly #1.
  2. Your wish came true! This whole thing has been ridiculous.
  3. Or just kept it to yourself.
  4. I hope he makes the full $5,000,000 this season. Of course it's Nightengale, so it's probably wrong anyway.
  5. I like it whether it's a precursor to a trade (my first thought), or just depth. Just get Jason Alexander the hell off my TV.
  6. Yeah, those 16 innings of 7 ERA would've made all the difference. He would've been traded by now, and for less than William Contreras & Gasser most likely.
  7. Ridiculous post. It continues to be a crime that Rolen isn't in.
  8. I knew I could count on you to post exactly what I would've, only better. Thanks again. This is an incredible deal for Atlanta for the 2nd best catcher in the game. I was just looking at Mark Canha's contract while browsing the T&T thread. He's making 11.5/year. They got Murphy for basically the same rate for 6 years.
  9. I like the idea of Canha, but he's played less than 50 games at 1B since his rookie year (2015) and he appears to be strictly LF. If he could play RF competently I'd be on board (and I'm not positive he can't for the record).
  10. Kinda gross if you ask me, but to each their own.
  11. You may get him yet @Brock Beauchamp!
  12. Like it quite a bit for both teams. I like Varsho a lot, probably more than most.
  13. $10MM is asinine, but most of the contracts have been asinine.
  14. Yeah, I was wondering who this Palmisano guy was, then I realized he meant Lou Palsmo.
  15. NVM. Already covered.
  16. He was really good before last year. Pretty big risk though. That third year is not great. Big market team can take that risk.
  17. That would be a garbage offer AFTER this coming season.
  18. I hope you're wrong because that would mean Counsell is really stupid. Which I'm pretty sure he's not.
  19. Man, that's a great contract. Wish it was the Brewers. Oh well.
  20. Fine. Trade for Escobar. Just trade someone else. Left-handed hitters with raw power and other plus tools don't grow on trees.
  21. You sure are eager to trade a 19 year old OF who had one bad season. Once again, this would piss me off big-time.
  22. I do not. Clearly I didn't understand you. I truly wasn't sure if you were serious. The internet can be hard to interpret. Edit: After re-reading the thread, I'm just dumb.
  23. Give a guy who can't pass a physical 13 years [or try to]. Not a great look.
  24. Not sure if serious.
