  1. The email they sent to subscribers specifically said they're preserving the $65 price. Plus they're honoring the $15 discount for everyone on their next bill even though the channels were only gone for a day and a half. No price increase, riggggggght. Not today, but wait a month or two.
  2. So the Packers have a game to spare correct? They could lose a game and still have #1 seed regardless of what anyone else does?
  3. I'm not convinced ST can't somehow give up an 11 point play here so hold on.
  4. Too early to worry about that, Packers likely get the ball back again either way. But yea, I'll take 7.
  5. Weak call, but not as weak as you think. He had both hands on Lazard's hios as he was making his break. That's exactly what they look for.
  6. Savage needs to have "Remember the Titans" chat. "Coach, I just can't cover this guy. Put Petey on him."
  7. Why? We have an MVP QB, the Ravens have like 3 healthy corners and excel at stopping the run. That's not how it works. You have a make-shift O line, and you don't need Rodgers thrwing 60 times a game. They have to use a balanced attack, and take advantage of their secondary when necessary.
  8. Keep running it, no problem with that at all.
  9. The U was the first landing spot that came to mind, but I don't know their current coaching situation either.
  10. I think there's a big difference between Bally's Sports channel being removed and people being denied access to their local ABC affiliate. Big, huge, gargantuan difference. ESPN, while not quite as influential as it once was, is still a pretty big deal as well. That's my point. ESPN is Disney, so the opposite is true. They ate WAY more influential as they once were, which is why it may not be resolved.
  11. Cmon man, thin crust is where it's at!
  12. I could easily see this not getting resolved. The RSNs never got resolved. Disney has so much clout, and now they their own streaming service, so they're not going to budge
  13. No, other than having to bounce in between apps rather than scroll through channels. First world problems.
  14. Returns really haven't hurt until the Bears game. I mean yea, there have been 25 yard punt returns sprinkled in, but nothing game changing. It's the potpourri of random ST mistakes that have been costly, not any one thing. That screams coaching to me. That said, I agree there should be zero KO returns. It's what the NFL wanted, and the Packers don't get it. If Crosby can't kick it through the end zone every time, get someone who can.
  15. Just had Lou Malnati's, and I actually like Rockys a lot more. I get it's unique, but I get a huge craving for it every few months. Extra cheezy super-rony and side of breadsticks? Yes please.
  16. YTTV likely losing Disney 12/17. That's right, that includes ESPN. NatGeo, possibly local ABC, and others. Got me thinking though, when do I ever watch ESPN? Used to be a must-have, but these days not so sure.
  17. Tbf, it's an NFL thing not just the Packers. You would think an analytical team like the Packers would attempt to put a value on a timeout. Surely it's more than the difference between a 20 or 25 yard FG. Agreed. That one was particularly dumb.
  18. Tbf, it's an NFL thing not just the Packers.
  19. C'mon, #1 is pretty silly. Forget that Douglas was under contract with the Raiders all summer, if they let king walk and signed Rasul Douglas as a starter they would have been ridiculed all summer. I don't think the Packers even thought he'd do what he's done. This just sounds like a really odd take, like some weird gymnastics to find a way to criticize a fantastic midseason signing. Actually believing this would require someone to think they knew in the spring that Rasul Douglas was an upgrade to King. Not to pile on but #2 and #3 are pretty silly too. Who thinks Brady is 7x better than Rodgers? And not punting unless it's an impossible conversion, yea....that's not a very good idea.
  20. Jones looks 100%, quite a recovery from his knee.
  21. Makes you wonder why teams never try fake punts/FGs against our vaunted ST unit.
