  1. Milwaukee and our fans in general aren't that wealthy. So many games starts to get pricey and not only that, but spending hundreds to watch their season end is not a feeling that will feel great afterwards. There's plenty of people who can afford a ticket for $100, $200 whatever it is. Not only that, there's way more people who can't afford it but will buy tickets anyhow. Have you ever been to a game and saw dudes plunking down $14 for 5,6,7 beers and think "this guy can't afford that."
  2. Cain had two hits yesterday including ringing double to straight away CF. Every AB is against a really, really good pitcher and we're just not going to see these guys get hits in bunches. Obviously they need to string a few hits together here and there though. Brewers are outhitting the Dodgers, this is just what you get in a playoff series with two pitching staffs on top of their game. Nothing more than a gut feeling, but I think Yelich comes through in these games. *Back to the two times CC didn't IBB walk guys to get to the pitcher. Did anyone in the media ask him about this?
  3. Santana definitely needs to be in the lineup and Yelich needs to be moved way down the order. No, Yelich will be fine back in mke, mark my words.
  4. I am not right often, but the blind squirrel found a nut. This is from 11:43 this morning You did see it coming, unfortunately so did the Dodgers.
  5. Just say this show is called "Hank the Dog and the Frosty Boys" Sounds fun?
  6. Baseball often doesn't work that way though. Advantage Dodgers? Sure, I'll give you that. But it's more like 55/45 chance, not 90/10. I know you never used that number, "I just don't see how we win this game" sounds 90/10 to me. That's ok, you rather prepare for the worst and be pleasantly surprised right?
  7. I’m going too and I think they’ll be playing the game on the big screen in front of the arena. As for the game ... I’m expecting and bracing for the worst, but hoping for the best. I'm going to Foo Fighters also, and the "Eagles" tomorrow tonight. Probably selling the Eagles tixs though.
  8. Posted this in another thread, but how about starting Woodruff? He's going to pitch today anyhow, so why not start him? That way, you'll know after 3-4 innings how the game is going. Have the lead? Turn to Miley. Losing? go to Davies.
  9. How about this? Woodruff is pitching today regardless. So why not start him? This way, after 3-4 innings you'll have a better idea how the game is going. You can roll with Miley after Woodruff if you have the lead, otherwise go with Davies.
  10. Agree. If I'm CC, of course I want to win today but I'm pretty much setting things up for games 6/7. That means Miley/Chacin and a fresh BP. Roll with Davies/Woodruff today, get as deep into the game as you can with those two. And who knows, maybe they get to Kershaw again and win the game in the process. I would even be fine with Anderson, the long ball not a huge issue in Dodger Stadium with the wind blowing in.
  11. Right? I will be tired in the morning already, what does another inning or two matter?
  12. Good enough move for tying run but not the winning run? Yes because it was unlikely to matter either way, but if it is a must score run it is worth increasing your chances by 2%. There was a chance to score there. Saving a ph for an 11th or 12th inning that may never happen is more of a waste.
  13. Because people yell at them for not being patient if they swing at the first pitch.
  14. Better dail a lot of numbers looking for a job next year. Tried to give him positive mojo
  15. Im sure we'll hear Hader move being questioned, but bringing in Jansen.... nothing.
