  1. AA/AA 2018 G AB R H TB 2B 3B HR RBI BB IBB SO SB CS AVG OBP SLG OPS 119 431 63 100 172 23 5 13 56 68 2 140 14 3 .232 .340 .399 .739 I have no problem with the trade. He's been pretty meh past high A.He would have only been a year or 2 stop gap to Huira anyways. Pretty obvious this is a case of "sarcasm without the blue."
  2. This is why all the "must win game" and "no chance at the division" talk was may too premature. Script has flipped, and hard to see how the Cubs are going to be able to hang on to the division.
  3. Did I hear my name? http://a.espncdn.com/combiner/i?img=/i/headshots/mlb/players/full/6218.png&w=350&h=254 You know I hit .406 in the Mexican Autumn League this year. And .367 in the Mexican Spring League. This handsome man can still rake. I hope you get banned.
  4. MVP chants for Yelich at Busch. Boos for Baez at Wrigley. I am so pumped it will be tough to sleep, and I'm way too old to be this excited about sports.
  5. It’s doing it for me too. I missed the Braun homer because of it. I have DirecTV. Same, I've had this problem with the broadcasts for at least the last week. Exactly why I will never have DirecTV. I'll keep paying my $800 a month to Spectrum
  6. Not even close to true, but I'm happy. I hope that was sarcasm FV. Decisions can't simply be judged on results. Bad decisions can have good results and good decisions can have bad results. But you have no proof keeping Woody in was a good decision. He may have cruised through, he may have given up a bomb. Knebel gave up zero so at least some proof it was the right decision. About the way 95% of the "what the heck is Counsel doing?!?!" end up.
  7. Not even close to true, but I'm happy. Zero runs. Would Woody have done that? We don't know, but we DO know Knebel gave up 0. No extra credit for how it gets done.
  8. Seems like those calls went against us for the first 145 games, nice to see a few go our way. Cancel that order for the computers.
  9. Honestly, I don't get into the "I would rather play" thing. Teams can be red hot and then lay an egg in the playoffs and vice versa. All of the teams in the mix are very good. Edit: So cool to see Woodruff dealing. I really believe something wasn't quite right with him, injury, delivery, something.
  10. Coach Cooper was famous for saying baseball is like a woman. Never easy, gives you a lot of joy, but can also RIP your heart out. Looking back, I have to wonder what kind of women he knew.
  11. I would love an inning with Coach Cooper, Auggie, and Uek in the booth. Let the good times roll.
  12. ..and smoke a filterless Marlboro. You remember. Yea, that was Coach Cooper, always a heater in his mouth. We wre only 12 so he wouldn't allow any smoking. He did leave a 5 gallon pale of Red Man in the dugout for us though.
  13. Coach Cooper always said don't chalk up a win in the 4th inning. Then he would go the parking lot and pound down a Blatz.
