  1. Kam is our 8th inning guy. I have faith in Saito, but he just came back from injury and Kam is our 8th inning guy. Something like that I am sure.
  2. Yeah. I thought Montero was a switch hitter, but he is a lefty. With a competent manager, guys like Loe and Braddock are really useful. Loe has faced 86 lefties this season and 87 righties. Which means that league has a clear book on Loe with him facing 1/2 LHers. Maybe someone should slip Roenicke a copy? He wouldn't read it. Kam is his guy. Through thick and thin. Same as McGehee and Kotsay.
  3. Absolutely ridiculous. RRR is intent on ruining the best team MKE has had in recent memory. This is absolutely pathetic.
  4. Why doesn't someone in the Milwaukee media take RRR to task for his idiotic use of Loe? I don't understand media relations but when fans can all see the same thing and Ron keeps trotting him out there I just don't understand how Ron doesn't get lit up.
  5. He was pretty terrible last inning... Without that DP ball, that inning could have been much worse. We've got LaTroy, Saito, and Axford tonight. I'm real confident in all three of those right now. LOL at thinking Ron would not bring on Loe in a close ball game.
  6. And why is Marcum out of the game? 85 pitches and we want to hand it over to our dominant bullpen?
  7. Agreed. CarGo's splits are pretty bad right now, but historically he has been fairly even LHP vs. RHP
  8. Agreed. Even better would be Weeks Morgan Hart Fielder Lucroy Gamel/Green Betancourt Boggs Marcum. Either play Gamel or send him down. This guy is our #1 prospect at this point. I don't see much of a fit for him if he isn't going to play 3rd so send him down and let him be ready for next year. Such easy fixes, but no one seems willing to pull the trigger. Hopefully there are some changes after the AS Break.
  9. So Prince with 4 walks today? Why would they throw him a strike with Betancourt behind him? Would be much more comfortable with Lucroy batting 5th. I thought McGehee was sitting for an extended period of time? Just don't understand why Gamel is here if he isn't going to play.
  10. And Loe is still in to promptly give up a single. Bill is blaming it on lack of work. Uh yea....
  11. Hawkins kicked RRR's dog and then slept with his wife. At least thats the only explanation I can think of that explains why Loe keeps getting handed high leverage situations to screw up when Hawkins sits unused on the bench.
  12. No you just ignore those comments because they are so ridiculous and these are emotional people who post these things constantly. Just laugh and move on. I try to. But when there are like a page and a half of "OMG Greinke sucks because I use antiquated numbers in absurdly small sample size" and then Weeks hits a rocket home run and there is one comment, it gets fairly annoying. So here is a simple question that can be answered with a simple yes or no should you so choose. Have you been happy with his performance thus far? Look I've read Baseball Between the Numbers and subscribe to the value of sabermetrics and all that junk, but I am having a hard time believing this is the pitcher you thought we were getting.
  13. Ok. I think the team hasn't played as well as they could have.
  14. Seriously? Just because we are in 1st place doesn't mean we can't criticize players. Grienke has not been very good. Sure his peripherals look great, but that hasn't translated yet. We should be comfortably in 1st. Simply throwing up your hands and saying we are in 1st so shut up you whiners is asinine, because if we keep playing this way we won't be. Given the talent and the way most have played thus far we aren't playing to where we could be IMO. The team is on pace to win ~88 games, which is right around what most projected for the team. Wins in the mid to high 80's, with the potential to get into the 90's while competing for the division. The team's run differential is +6. Third in the NL in OPS (sixth in runs scored) and tenth in the NL in ERA. They've played above average baseball, and that is reflected in their above average record. They should be comfortably in first and they are not. That is all I am saying.
  15. The only reason he has not been is because we have scored 7 runs a game in his starts. If he was getting much less run support he would be a problem. How anyone can say he has pitched well is beyond me. He has been at the very best the Brewers 4th best starter. I was not saying he has been the reason we aren't in first. I was more responding to the notion that because we are in 1st people should be safe from critique.

  17. Walk Mauer to get to Cuddyer. That's a smart move right?
