  1. I love me some Corey Hart. Great baserunning. Good job by Benny getting the bunt down. That's the way its done kids.
  2. So it was Gross' fault that Kapler couldn't catch that? It was supposed to be a joke. I was making fun of people who post stuff like the comment right above mine. Dry humor doesn't come across too well on the message boards. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  3. Stupid Gabe Gross. God he is a horrible centerfielder. I can't wait until Cameron comes back.
  4. Man I am getting sick of watching these guys rolling over on the first pitch.
  5. That a way Prince! Keep eating that tofu son!
  6. We had a runner on 2nd with Parra up so Ned pinch hit for him. Dillon walked but the strike zone that expands 5 inches out of the zone against Brewers hitters only means that he actually struck out. Seems like an interesting move. I guess I can't agree or disagree with the move seeing as I haven't seen the whole game but that doesn't seem to bode well for setting up our pen for the rest of this series.
  7. Can anyone tell me why Parra is out after throwing only 70 some pitches? Sorry I just got the game on and can't figure out why I am seeing Riske and not Parra.
  8. I love Villy but does anyone else always think he is going to trip over the mound when he is going to the plate.
  9. It depends on how bad said reliever looks. I believe if they look horrible outing and after outing then you pull him out of the closer role. I would say the number would have to be somewhere between 5-10 horrid performances. That being said last night was a performance I can handle. Gagne looked good, getting the first two batters and then Patterson gets a cheap home run to blow the save. If he was out there walking guys and just leaving the ball out over the plate for big hits then I would be worried.
  10. Third base side for sure. Sometimes the Left Field Loge Bleachers can get some sun too. But anywhere on the 3rd base side from the field until maybe 20 rows back and you should get good and crispy.
  11. Brewers19 - I love the avatar. Priceless. Count me in the group that thinks Trenni is foxy and even more foxy because she actually knows what she is talking about when it comes to baseball. Ann Carroll was horrible and thankfully she was not only replaced, but replaced with someone who knows what they are doing and can actually form coherent sentences.
  12. Just another reason to hate the Bucks and the NBA in general.
  13. Anyone with DirectTv know what channel WMLW is?
  14. Well Opening Day was great until I went through that window!!! Just kidding, but I seriously just woke up from the game. This maybe should be in the drunk thread but im posting it here. Apparently my buddy got pulled over because I was hanging out of the sunroof/window while leaving the game. Thank god he was sober because I think I am still drunk!! I actually remember the game, but notmuch after it. Oh boy!!! Go Crew.
  15. Well guys I am putting on my Fielder jersey for the first time this year. I've got Andrew W.K. rocking my speakers and am t-minus 10 minutes from heading to the park for tailgating festivities. Yep it's Opening Day. Merry Christmas Brewerfan!!
  16. I work at a bar and gets lots of free drinks. Shocker, i know.
  17. So wait are you guys telling me that Brewers actually go out and do thing that normal people do like go on dates and go shopping at the mall?!?!?!? I thought they played MVP '05 on their computers all night. Sorry I just couldn't help it. Loving the stories
  18. Its amazing how much of a difference it makes when the starter goes 6+ instead of 5 or 5+. Again even though it is only two games you can't help but be encouraged by it. The only thing I didn't like was that Suppan seemed to nibble a little too much. I know he only had 2 BB's but it just seemed like he threw a lot of balls. Either way I can't to read the Northside Baseball forums.
  19. What pitch is it that Soup is throwing in the mid 80's with a little dive on it and low in the zone. Is that his sinker? Whatever it is it looks great today.
  20. I don't think Braun gets that one
  21. No love for Golden Grahams here? I love that stuff and could eat it every day. In my house we always had a rule growing up that you eat one bowl of normal cereal and then if you wanted you could have one bowl of sugary cereal. Does anyone else eat raisins in their cereal? Cheerios or Wheaties and a whole bunch of raisins rocks my socks. Man I love cereal!!
  22. I have told people in the past that I will be absent from work/school because I will be at the temple attending a religious observance. If asked I state my religion is Brewish.
