  1. That was a smoked ball...Morgan got as close as he could and almost made the play. Held slow man Berkman to a double. I'd say that is Not a terrible play by Morgan.
  2. I like his OBP% .342 Much better than most on our team right now. Now we just need a lefty in the BP. Make it happen Doug.
  3. Not bad. Not the best I was hoping for. This means that either Counsel or Wilson will be sent down. My thinking is that even though Wilson is the better option of the two, their going to keep 'ole man Craig for locker-room leadership and experience.
  4. Yeah the Astros have a chance to be historically terrible. Trading away Pence and Rodriquez could push them over the top. It's a good thing we play them 9 more times then.
  5. Yeah, but ARam is a Cub. Yar!!
  6. How is Lopez any different than Farris at this point? I really like Counsel, but his time is over.
  7. Thanks for the clarification. I'm going to hold off saying anything like Green to the Mets until it happens.
  8. Did I miss something? Why are you all saying Taylor Green to the Mets?
  9. According to a tweet by Jon Heyman, STL is possibly going to aquire Edwin Jackson from the Blue Jays once he's trading to them from the Sox. If this happens, it'll be a nice pick-up by STL and will allow them to move McClellon back to the BP. That's dangerous as well.
  10. So, with the NFL lockout completed and FA about to get under way...combined with the MLB trading deadline this weekend...I am claiming this week, the Greatest Week(end) in sports history. I wish I could take off of work all week long and just watch the trade rumors, transactions, sports talk that's going to occur.... Should be a fun week nonetheless!
  11. Regardless, a coach is supposed to make sure their players have the fundamentals down. 2 innings in a row making the last out at 3rd is inexcusable.
  12. All I was saying is that Hart is in a major slump right now, and YB is making him look bad. Total Bases: YB: 123, Hart: 120 Slg: YB; .373, Hart .460 RISP: YB: .216, Hart:.203 LIP-RISP: YB: .176, Hart .118 OBP: .273 (horrendous), Hart: .343 Yes, I know that Hart is a way better asset to the team than YB, but Hart has been stinking up the joint in pressure situations where we are expecting his salary to justify his output.
  13. Don't look know, but YB (.252) is almost hitting better than Mr. Hart (.257). Hart is quickly becoming an issue with me.
  14. Yeah, and they normally end up hitting exactly into the shift.
  15. Yes it does/did. It affects the mind frame of the batter drastically. Yes, they're professionals but I don't think you'll be able to sell me that a batter isn't thinking of a 5 man infield when he's waiting for the pitch.
  16. Ryan Braun looked good running down to first last inning.
  17. We could most likely get him on the cheap since he's losing PT to Moose. Not a bad option. I'm just happy that DM is still in talks.
  18. I'd rather have him at SS and keep McGehee at 3B. He's played SS in the past and per her fielding stats, plays it well.
  19. Because it seems that everytime he's in a clutch spot, he fails. RISP this year, he's batting: .214/.315/.375. Those aren't good number's.
  20. Per MLBTR... Brewers, Royals Have Discussed Wilson Betemit #mlb
