With the Cards playing good baseball right now and ATL crashing and burning...I don't think ATL is going to be able to hold onto the WC with only being 3.5 games up. I have a feeling we're going to get our wish of playing AZ in the first round no matter what.

Yeah Baby!!! Way to go Howard/Ruiz!!!

Seek and Y shall find. Nice pick up Prince!

Did that really just happen? C'mon Yuni. Let's get a DP here!
  7. brewtank34
That's more like it. Wolf needs to buy Weeks a beer for that one.
  8. brewtank34
Looks like our offense aren't the only ones pressing. C'mon Wolf! Get your act together here!

I'm pretty sure that STL and ATL would play a tie-breaker game for the Wild-Card spot. You're absolutely correct.
  10. brewtank34
Crew: 9-3 Cincy(2-1), Chc (3-0), Fl (2-1) Pit (2-1) StL: 9-4 Phil (1-3), NYM (2-1), Chc (3-0), Hou (3-0) AZ: 7-5 SD (2-1), Pit (2-1), SF (1-2), LAD (2-1) ATL: 4-8 NYM (2-1), FLA (1-2), Wash (1-2), Phil (0-3) Philly vs. STL (STL gets the WC after owning the tiebreaker with ATL) AZ vs. Crew (AZ wins the tiebreaker on the last game of the year) Braun is going to go on a tear from here on out and wins the batting championship and the MVP. Gallardo finishes with 18 W's.

    NICE!!

My faith is dwindling quickly. Win against the teams we should (Cubs, Houston, Pitt), but we can't muster hits/offense against The Cards, Phillies. Not good signs at all.
  15. brewtank34
Good luck Green! Any word on Yuni?

This is by far the most informed, insighful, intellegent comment/post I've ever read on this forum. Not only do you call our manager who got us to a 25 and 5 record in the last month and so many days...a moron (brilliant! I think you perfectly captured his inability to manage a baseball team) but you also challenge his baseball knowlege. You my friend should be a moderator for this forum. I love your takes.

Don't be surprised to see Mcgehee's numbers to increase. With the threat of losing time to a better hitter, Casey's going to start focusing on his approach and will get hot... Mark my words
  18. brewtank34
Or Tim McCarver. Come on guys...enjoy the ride.
  19. brewtank34
I can't believe no one has mentioned the guy (other than Braun) who got us the the playoffs....CC Sabathia! How about airing any/all of his games pitched? I personally would like to watch the oh-no no-hitter.
  20. brewtank34
Yes, but do you want Kottaras in the starting line-up for a playoff series? That is what it boils down to. Yes, he deserves to pitch, but Kottaras does not deserve to start. Sorry Wolf!
  21. brewtank34
Regarding the playoffs and Randy Wolf...as much as he has deserved to be included in a 4 man rotation, I absolutely, 100% positively do NOT want Kottaras in any starting line-up for the Brewers in the playoff games. Sorry Wolf, but your own selfishness will cause you to miss out on starting a game in the playoffs...that of course, if I were the manager.

Co-MVP's: Braun/Fielder. I don't see why this wouldn't work. Combined, they are the most fearsome 3-4 in baseball. If both players are legit MVP candidates and in consideration (and on the same team)...why not just give them both the MVP. Obvious answer...because it's not MVPs. Well....my vote would still be for both.

wow! when things are going your way....things are really going your way! Way to go Francisco!!
