    Just so everybody knows, you can only link one Netflix account per Xbox. My wife also as a Netflix account and when we started a gold membership for her on my our Xbox it brought up my play now queue.

    I think that by the end of a 6 year contract CC would be starting to decline. That is certainly a lot of turnover on your list. I will admit I am not on board with that much turnover on our roster.

    Overall they are pretty close offensively. You would trade a righty for a lefty and SLG for OBP. Given the big difference in Defense I think Cameron would be a much better choice for CF.

    I could be remembering wrong, but it seems that most of Weeks errant throws could be converted into outs with a 1B that could dig balls out of the dirt.

    Still can't preview gamer pictures or themes. Super lame. Now you can't even preview them on the Xbox website.

    The arguement for Gamel at 1B has always been that he is a small step down from Fielder offensively and a big step up defensively. There is a good chance he would be an overall improvement over Fielder at 1B.

    I was going to say that Braun was never on a bubblegum card, but I hear they just put gum back in some packs of cards recently. I think that Braun could play CF. I don't think Braun should play CF yet though.

    Sorry, I just can't get over how bad Hall was against RHP last year. I had not looked at his line until a little while ago.

    Our offense couldn't score runs down the stretch, that was our downfall Nobody was hitting down the stretch other than Weeks, Durham and Fielder(only the last 2 weeks). All our players matching last year with Hart hitting closer to his 2007 numbers than his 2008 numbers(not much of a stretch in my opinion) and replacing Hall's .174/.242/.316/.557 line in 270 PA with Branyan's line against RHP should give us a pretty big improvement. Man did Hall suck against RHP last year.

    What are the rules on trading players after they have just been traded? I thought you had to keep a player you traded for at least 6 months before they could be traded again.

    I know he's no where close to ready, but I still believe him to be a legitimate prospect. I prefer to be more than an injury away from a replacement level player. He may be a legitimate prospect, but until he is close to ready he wouldn't come into my considerations for the MLB team. Maybe a couple years down the road. My preference would be to sign Hardy to a 4-5 year deal and trade Escobar. If Hardy isn't going to sign a deal like that then I would trade him as soon as I got a fair deal for him.

    Branyan only played for part of the year with us. Having him for the full year against righties would help us out quite a bit. We have been hearing mixed reviews on Gamel on defense. He started out bad, but most reports have been that his defense is improving. I would prefer to keep him in AAA next year to learn 1B as well. I don't think Gamel would be a bad temporary replacement for Branyan at 3B if Branyan gets hurt. I am pretty sure Gamel's splits don't indicate he should be platooned(I could be wrong). Since he is a young developing player I would prefer to keep Gamel playing against all pitchers and not have him in a platoon role.

    It looks like you can only have one Netflix account linked to your each gold member which sucks... for my wife. Live is just under $40 with free shipping for a 13 month card on either Amazon or Buy.com. Better than spending $50+tax over xbox live. I was dissapointed that you couldn't even change the color of your clothes. Very generic choices for everything on your avatar.

    .713 minor league OPS for Span vs .788 MLB OPS for Cameron is how Cameron is a better hitter. I would trade SLG for OBP if the OPS was similar or a little lower. When you are talking about a gap that big let alone at different levels I no reason to go beyond OPS. When Melvin talks about balancing out the lineup I really doubt he means replacing a good player with a below average player.

    A Hall/Branyan(or Lamb) platoon at 3B should be expected to outproduce whatever Escobar brings to the offense and has a good chance to outproduce JJ next year.

    Get either a charger or rechargeable batteries. The Wiimotes eat up batteries at a very high rate. Much faster than either the Xbox or Playstation controllers. Component cable if your TV can handle 480p.

    If he isn't a better hitter why do we want him? I disagree with the "needing balance in the lineup" philosophy that people keep talking about. We need better OBP. I would not go out to get that OBP by replacing a hitter with a an inferior hitter. It doesn't matter whether people K less if they are not as good at hitting. I know the Brewers have stated left handed bats and OBP as one of their offensive needs. They need to do that without making the lineup worse though. I am not trying to be a dick, but I am aggravated with all the left handed hitter suggestions for worse hitters to replace our current players.

    some of the main offensive issues have been addressed How does replacing Hardy with Escobar and Cameron with Span make us better offensively? They both look to be worse on offense than the player they would replace.

    I think they will leave him in AAA to learn 1B. I htink they would prefer Branyan/Lamb/Hall at 3B over Gamel.
