  1. I appologize for not being clearer in my previous post. Bioshock is a very entertaining game. However it is very short with little or no replay value. It is not worth the $60 it was originally released for. If you can pick it up at a discounted price or borrow it from a friend it is definitely worth playing.
  2. I would say that you should get your clubs fitted. No matter how much you spend on clubs it will make them much better for you.
  3. I guess this misconception has yet to be put to rest. Ned was in about the middle of MLB in terms of different lineups last year.
  4. It just amazes me how down on Bush people are. I guess it shouldn't. A few big innings and he sucks. I think we as Brewers fan need to stop thinking that we "have" to always bring up our young guys as soon as they have a few good games in AAA. There is no way Gallardo has better stuff than Sheets. Sheets has more velocity on his fastball and he can spot it. Add his curve, one of the best in the league, and he is among the elite pitchers stuff wise.
  5. Bioshock is pretty good, but I would call it a rent more than a buy. Short game you can play through in a weekend.
  6. Braun #2 was in the lineup thread a few weeks back. I think Fielder or Braun should hit #2, but I doubt that happens.
  7. I guess you would want Vargas over Suppan then since he had a better win% last year than Suppan. I don't think anybody refered to spring training numbers.
  8. I didn't like the signing either. Like endaround said Bush was more consistent that Suppan was. Suppan was the king of 5 inning starts last year. 12 of his starts didn't get to the 6th inning. http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pKN8HdBGjC9KoeBvx_jbJEQ
  9. Gears of War would probably be pretty fun if you like shooters. It might be kind of short though.
  10. I seriously considered buying a small sample shirt for my son, but I don't think the light colors would go long without stains. No small sample thong? What about small sample boxers?
  11. Yeah I was saying to somebody just the other day that the hiring of Simmons was bad for Yost. If Yost gets better all the credit will go to Simmons and if he doesn't it will be because he didn't listen to Simmons.
  12. 1. I wouldn't call it stupid2. It is only over untill Gallardo comes back.
  13. Yeah I have TiVo, but I am not always at home when I grill. I love TiVo, it felt like a holiday yesterday when I came home to find that my TiVo had recorded a preseason Brewers game. My TiVo gets me.
  14. I believe you are correct. That series however isn't due until 2010 I believe. I think the prequal would have been much better if it had come out first. It would have been much better not to know the basic ending before the end. Also would have been nice to not know Palapatine was the top bad guy 20 min into the first movie.
  15. How much should we count pitching in winter ball?
  16. I changed my mind on why I don't like this. I now have to pick a different starter for grilling day. I used to be able to just grill whenever Vargas was pitching. You could pretty much leave whenever an at bat started and go out to flip everything and get a "soda". Now I will have to find somebody equally slow or wait until commercials. I see a lot of burned meat in my future.
  17. Vargas has already been released. I appologize if I am misreading your post and you already konw this. Vargas is gone and we saved $2.7M by releasing him now instead of tomorrow. TLB, You might be right about those guys being as good as Vargas. I remember Jackson a little and think he was much like Vargas where he went deep into alot of counts. I dont' know much about the other guys, so I would have felt more comfortable with Vargas since I know what we will get out of him. I never really liked Vargas. Maybe it is best that he is gone, but I won't feel confident or like this move until I see some of those other AAA guys pitch.
  18. I don't like having 5 2/3 starting pitchers. Parra doesn't count as a full pitcher since his innings will have to be limited.
  19. McClung has shown he is also mediocre at best throughout his career.
  20. I still think we owe Vargas. Unless I am mistaken all MLB contracts are guaranteed. This does nothing, but kill our SP depth. I would rather rely on Vargas, who I think is pretty bad and a bulpen killer/nibbler, than a minor leaguer who has never pitched in the majors or a minor leaguer who had short starts every time out in the majors(Jackson).
  21. This is a bad move. We lose a starter and now we realease one. 6 MLB quality starters isn't enough to get through a season, especially when one will be on a strict innings count. I didn't want Vargas anywhere near the starting rotation unless we had several injuries, but I also didn't want him off the team completley. Well, since Cappy went down anyway.
  22. I doubt it. I think he is still nibbling, but we need all the starters we can get with Cappy down. Is this in the wrong forum?
  23. More information on the Clone Wars cartoons. I am not sure if the guy who wrote this knows much about Star Wars. "Also, any thing featuring Mace getting all medieval on Clone Troopers is almost fun to watch." Unless I am mistaken Mace Windu was killed before the clone troopers turned on the jedi. http://stars.ign.com/articles/861/861693p1.html
  24. Ugh. Sorry Russ, I didn't read the thread as carefully as I should have. I will fill out the survey tomorrow.
  25. If I did believe in clutch I would say Counsell or Hall. Since I do not believe in clutch I will go with Fielder.
