    The best thing is being able to buy tickets months in advance and knowing that you aren't going to travel 90 minutes each way for a rainout. It still boggles the mind why a team this far north would build a staduim without a roof. Yeah I'm talking to you Minnesota people.

    when CV left early makes me think someone is giving Yost a few pointers. . I figured this would happen. If Yost got better as a manager it would be all because of Simmons and if he didn't it would be because he didn't listen to Simmons.

    Pretty sure it was Crain as well. Santana did give up Weeks homer. I have the scorecard, first time scoring a game, but I don't have the Minnesota pitchers filled out well.

    I think Bill brushed up on his golf references over the winter. He might have also watched Caddyshack. I like the fact that Brian is pronouncing Villanueva's name correctly. Overall I think that Brian and Bill are even better than last year. I appreciate them even more after watching a spring training game with the Rockies. Their guys wold drive me nuts. Their analyst had a horribly annoying laugh.

    I would hate to be filling out a scorecard when a manager does something crazy like that.

    That I disagree with. If I thought the complaining about the manager would stop I would have advocated Yost's firing yesterday. I have however come to the conclusion that no mattter who the manager is, somebody is going to complain. Most of the disagreements are opinion based, but are presented as fact.

    I fish, at least once a year and I hate the Packers. You never insult Favre around people you don't know very well. Heck I have even had my friends get really angry at me for saying bad things about Favre. Of course I said something along the lines of Favre should go back on the vicodin and beer because he wasa better player when he was using drugs. They also ge angry when I say that Favre isn't one of the best 5 QB's of all time. No this state is football crazy. That will never change. I have to agree that part of it is one game a week makes it pretty easy for casual fans to follow and have an intelligent opinion on.

    Unless you believe in protection. Then a player on a team with many other good players could see more pitches to hit and have better stats, in theory.

    I know pitchers in the majors chart the day before they pitch. Maybe this is common in the minors as they might not have complex TV's and stuff that MLB teams have in the clubhouse. Or maybe they are just training him to be a scout somewhere in South America.

    OBP might be better as it might give you more players to work with.

    When is walking a runner meaningless though? Putting runners on base always helps the batting team increase their run scoring potential.

    I was wondering why it is that sac bunting is looked down on, but IBB gets a free pass?(sorry, couldn't help myself) I get the feeling that most people dislike sac bunting, but very few seem to complain about IBB. From what I have seen IBB almost never gives the pitching team a very big advantage. It lets them dictate some match ups, but wouldn't they be better served by changing pitchers instead? I am going to put a little more thought into this , but was wondering what others thought.

    Without the Brewers baseball would be dead to me. Much like the NFL since I can't watch my favorite NFL team enough to keep up with them.
