  1. Don't get me wrong, I mean no disrespect to the field of Psychology or getting a degree in it, just that every person I have ever met that has gone to school for a psychology degree, has gone back for something else. At the very least they have gone on for a master's degree.
  2. Unless he keeps putting on weight. The AL is a really good place for him.
  3. Brian and Bill during the game. That's what Simmons told them.
  4. Never rub another man's rhubarb. If you go to school for a phychology degree you should expect people to ask you "what are you going back to school for" whenever you tell them what you are majoring in.
  5. Somebody posted in the previous 3TO thread claiming to be a realative of Russell. I have no reason not to believe them.
  6. Fielder needs more protection than Braun in the batting order because Fielder is more of a one-tool hitter I very much disagree with this. Fielder is able to hit for both power and average. He also draws walks driving up his OBP.
  7. Art Monk finally got into the hall of fame. Just goes to show you shold never giveup.
  8. They were saying Vinny was in the 1.85 range.
  9. I would highly recommend getting rechargeable batteries. The Wiimotes burn through batteries. I would also recommend the component cables if you have a TV that shows 480p. That one is less necessary though.
  10. California might be nice right up until it falls into the ocean.
  11. I Weeks can put up production like he did last year every year, he will be one of the better 2B in the league. Everybody talks like Weeks had a bad year last year. He obviously has yet to live up to his potential, but last year wasn't exactly bad. His defense is subpar, but he is pretty good offensivley.
  12. Here are a couple of recent threads about Parra and Villy. Most of the arguement boils down to keeping the 5 best starters vs keeping the most pitchers for the future. Also wether or not Villy is much better/different than Bush/Capunao/Vargas. http://forum.brewerfan.net/viewtopic.php?t=10951 http://forum.brewerfan.net/viewtopic.php?t=11185
  13. I was actually more worried about JJ's left shoulder until now. He grabbed it after his HR last sunday.
  14. They don't pitch like they do in the regular season. There is a schedule of who is pitcing for the day.
  15. I think those Sunday and Thursday/Wednesday lineups look so bad because they are day after night games so the catcher sits and it is a good day to give an everyday player off as there is frequently a day off around those games(Sunday games more than Monday games). That way a player will get 2 days in a row off during the season. It makes your lineup look pretty weak because you have 2 guys off on the same day.
  16. I am still skeptical that Vargas is pitching to contact. I know that's what he said he is doing, but he looked like he was still going deep into counts on many hitters. Still it was just one game that I saw.
  17. Not really sure if this would be a Brewers lie, but I would tell people that the creator of Brewerfan.net is really a Cubs fan. It is so unbelievable I doubt that anybody would think it is madeup.
  18. Don't forget about Cameron's suspension. Melvin mentioned that there would be another difficult decision on who to send down when Cameron returned. I would guess one of Gross, Kapler, Gwynn would go back down when Cameron returns.
  19. Vargas is still nibbling as far as I can tell. 80 pitches through 5 innings on Friday. He went deep into counts on most hitters. The only reason he wasn't over 100 pitches is that he didn't walk anybody and gave up only a couple hits. Pitching like he did on Friday is going to lead to high pitch counts and early exits in games as there is no way he 2 hits many teams.
  20. Then why do you constantly wish injury upon him and cheer when he is injured? If he is really as bad as you seem to think he will be eventually found out to be the fraud that you think he is. I appreciate the fact that you want to see the Brewers win, but to be happy when somebody is injured is just completely classless.
  21. There should be a local Coop that you can get a tank filled at.
  22. 2-3 days a week you tell yourself that "today is the day I am not going to post at Brewerfan.net." You look back and have posted every day.
