    Don't quote me on this, I just think I've heard this before. A 480i analog channel takes about the same amount of bandwidth as a 720p digital channel and a 480i digital channel takes up a lot less bandwidth than 480i analog channel. Is the problem that it takes up too much bandwidth to broadcast a digital 720p signal and a 480i analog signal because it is like broadcasting two 720p digital signals? Congratulations if you can follow everything I said because I don't even think I can follow it.

    It took a really fluky hot streak and a blown call in the one-game playoff for the Rox to make the playoffs. I understand and agree with your general point, but I disagree with the example. It's ok to disagree with that example. My point being is no team can ever be written off at any time. Any team at any point in time can get hot -- even if it is fluky.

    Last year I wasn't scared about the cubs and I was wrong. This year is going to be different. I'm not going to get scared of the cards, but I am not going to write them off like what i did last year. From the tone of many people here, they are writing them off after one week. Many people last year probably were not scared of the Rockies and they should have been.

    Also, what happened to the camera angle that was above home plate they had last year? It was so easy to see whether balls were inside or outside. That was mixed with the camera angle that shows the batter to show the height. From the games I have seen, there hasn't been that angle. Also I agree that velocity should be shown. I have been watching games with that free preview of Extra Innings and it is really nice to see how much pitches change speeds. I would like to go to gameday to see that, but my computer and tv are in a different rooms.

    You can watch brewer games on MLB.tv Too Bad I don't have that IP address class......I could be watching the Brewers during class. You may want to email your ISP and see if they are aware of the problem I called them up yesterday and they said that it will eventually get taken care of.

    I go to google and it redirects me to google canada. For my fantasy team on Yahoo it says welcome to Yahoo Sports Canada. I have also gone to an IP address locator on a google canada search -- it says I am in Toronto and I am definitely in Madison. It even shows the Canadian flag. I have connected to other wireless networks at my apartment complex and the same thing happens, so I figure it is something with my ISP (restech). I am not doing anything out of the ordinary. Here is the screenshot from the IP address locater. I did not enter anything into this site, this is the page that popped up. http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk3/weshelmsfan/Picture1.jpg I personally think it is kind of cool. Does anyone have any explanation for this?

    I like that camera angle at Nationals park when there is a flyball. It does a good job of showing a player moving in on the ball.

    Good thing ESPN2HD will be blacked out, so I will have to watch it on Charter's standard definition FSN............It still will be worth it though

    I would recommend going to a Nevada Bob's and buying used clubs. Many golfers spend money on clubs that they think will help their game. After a couple of rounds they realize that they can't hit the club and sell them back to try something else. Two years ago I decided to update my graphite shafted Callaway knockoffs going the used club route. I bought a used set of Titleist 804os irons. I really love them. They were only used maybe 5 rounds. I inspected every club before I finalized the purchase and saw they were in excellent condition. At the time those clubs brand new cost $1000, but I got them for $500. These clubs lowered my handicap from a 15 to a 9. Over the year, my distance has increased dramatically. My old 8 iron used to go 150 yards, after a year of using them, my pitching wedge now goes 150 yards. I'm sure you could probably get a very nice used driver. You could possibly find a r7 quad there that is in good condition at a reasonable price. After all, your clubs aren't going to stay in mint condition their entire life. You are going to put marks in them. Why pay more for something that will happen regardless if it is new or used?

    I am commissioner of a Yahoo Points league and the draft is tomorrow. I want to make things more interesting by reducing the players in the field by making it NL only. What happens if a player goes to the AL in an NL only league? Thanks

    I just bought NHL 08 and the Admirals are a team in the game. They even play at the Bradley Center.

    I've been to Shea before. The only thing I remember is parking is on site much like Miller Park. After the game we drove to Philadelphia to watch the Brewers the next day.

    That will make your computer run faster. I had 512MB on my computer, it would take forever to open and close the internet and windows media player.....along with other programs. However, I just updated to 1.5 Gigs. What a difference. Now is considerably faster than before. It takes under a second to close programs. Then I gave 512 of it to my brother. So now I just had a gig. I haven't noticed a difference going from 1.5 gigs to 1 gig though. RAM is also cheap. That gig of ram cost 50 bucks off of newegg.com. I'm sure you could get 512 on there for 35ish bucks. You have to be careful when buying ram though -- It has to be compatible with the motherboard.

    Two takes on this comment: One, if this is the problem, then why not put Corey Hart in between Fielder and Braun and then keep the pitcher batting ninth. This way they won't steal each others rbis and we won't be giving away an out. By putting the pitcher eighth, we have given up all hope on the 6 and 7 hole guys. This means we have given up hope on Bill Hall, someone that has hit 35 homers in a season. Two, why would they ever steal each others rbis? If you are successful 30 percent of the time in baseball, that is good. If Prince fails to get someone in from second base, Ryan will be right behind him to knock him in. If your worried about someone taking rbi opportunities, there won't be a second chance to drive the person in from second base. If Prince were to drive in that person, he could also get on second base and won't take Ryan's rbi opportunity.

    It's a little interesting how I came to this site. I was playing Sheepshead on Yahoo and someone asked about my user name of Weshelmsfan18. He saw that I was knowledgeable about the brewers and baseball and recommended that I become a member of this site. Whoever that was, I thank you very much. I check this site regularly. It seems like credible information gets out faster. I feel I don't post as much as I should but still enjoy reading everyone's opinion.
