  1. Thanks Gorman, I like the play by play.
  2. I know from experience that they start practice at 10.
  3. Mine is pretty self explanatory. Bo Ryan at his best.
  4. When I went to spring training 2 years ago, we went to every Old Chicago in the Phoenix area. We printed out coupons from the internet used them each night. We thought it wouldn't good to use the same coupon at the same Old Chicago each night. I think it was like 10% off or something -- don't remember. They were always skeptical, but always honored them. I don't even know if they still even offer this.
  5. Well hopefully he gets hurt. I can't believe the love affair with this guy. I was so happy when we released him on January 31, 2006. Bring back Cirillo. At least there is something good about him.
  6. I know its just a minor league deal, but I really don't like him. I don't even like the chance of someone getting hurt and him coming up. Yes the team needs more walks, but not at the expense of strikeouts. His BB/K ratio was below league average last year.
  7. One more thing. His strikeout rates are actually off the charts. Fangraphs doesn't even graph to where his level is. Give some PT to someone that really needs it. http://www.fangraphs.com/graphs/370_3B_season_full_4_20071001.png
  8. I'm thrilled to have someone that strikes out 40% of the time back on the team. Thats just what this team needs. The best thing about having Branyan is that patented walk after each and every strikeout. He slowly steps out of the batters box and then grabs the bat halfway up and walks at a crawling pace to the dugout. I just want to go tell him that there is a 40% chance he will strike out the next time he bats and should pick up the pace. It is nothing out of the ordinary. http://fightingphils.mlblogs.com/my_weblog/images/branyan.jpg What is so great about having him? Why is there such a love with this guy? For the Nickelback thread, 3TO << Nickelback and I hate Nickelback. If this was Wes Helms we were bringing back (like next year after the Phillies can't afford him), I would be thrilled. I love Wes Helms (seriously, my Yahoo ID is weshelmsfan18).
  9. I cut left handed with right handed scissors. I don't think I could cut with a left handed pair.
  10. the good the bad the ugly secret agent man
  11. lose a quick pound.
  12. Thanks, I figured with march madness coming up, Bo Ryan should get his game face on. I really couldn't find a good picture with his blank stare.....the one where he shows no teeth and looks right through you. This was the best I could do.
  13. The song hero by Chad Kroeger is as far as I go for liking Nickelback. But that really isn't Nickelback.
  14. It looks like the deal is dead. Mavs Forward George uses his no trade clause. espn link
  15. Ill be a part of it
  16. checking the Badgers score on my cell phone every 5 minutes I was doing the exact opposite was checking the brewer score every 5 minutes. Luckily I taped the game and got to see Vinny and Little T destroy the Padres.
  17. Roommates that talk too loud on the phone. I can here the whole conversation when my door is closed.
  18. Twins sign Hernandez Interesting signing........IMO Hernandez seems like he has pitched out his arm over the years. In the past he has been an inning eater and I think now there is nothing left. With no relation to being an inning eater, I can see this turn into the Sidney Ponson signing the Twins did last year. It goes nowhere.
  19. Podsednik signed a minor league contract with an invite to spring training. 700K if he makes the team, otherwise 13K each month in minors Here
  20. Podsednik signed a minor league contract with an invite to spring training. 700K if he makes the team, otherwise 13K each month in minors Here
  21. Podsednik signed a minor league contract with an invite to spring training. 700K if he makes the team, otherwise 13K each month in minors Here
  22. Yahoo Sheepshead Probably the most addicting game online.
  23. I'm a fan of the doritos one with the rat coming out of the wall.
  24. Anything by Guns 'n Roses is bad by default.
  25. ESPN This makes him the highest paid pitcher in mlb history and also the third highest paid player ever on a per year basis. Number 1 and 2 on the list are Arod.
