    I don't mean to be a downer but I would be really surprised if McClung kept this up. I keep waiting for his bubble to burst. Hopefully we have another starting pitcher by that time.

    i had the same exact surgery. the stints thing is a piece of cake. just ride it out, it's worth the trouble once it's all over. i'm glad i did it.

    This season (7) was supposed to be the last, but the writer's strike screwed everything up. NBC decided to drop the series and aired the last episode they owned as a series finale, but the exec producer vowed he would finish the series properly. So they're doing their last season on ABC. NBC never appreciated this truly great show... I'm glad it's moving to ABC for a proper sendoff even though I'll admit the last season or two has not been as good as the seasons before it. I want a proper ending for everything.

    What position and when are they going to play?

    I have never been a big Suppan fan, but the notion of dropping him is ridiculous. This year he's had 2 bad starts and 4 really great starts (6 ER over those 4 starts), it's just that the 2 bad ones were pretty bad. He's not an ideal #2 or 3 but he's definitely a solid rotation guy that we need right now.

    Braun's definitely been trying to draw walks the last week or two... I've noticed he's struck out looking quite a bit. So I guess he just isn't taking the right pitches yet. He'll improve, I'm sure.

    I am not a Yost lover but he deserves credit for apparently putting the right guy into the game after Turnbow. Again, I don't really even like Yost but I'll agree that he never gets any credit when things go well, only when things go badly. That said, I would've pulled Turnbow after the first walk, heh.

    Yeah a real man would keep throwing in a game in April with a big lead! I knew I had that coming. I'm just sick of this team depending on a guy this undependable.

    not a blister, soreness in his right tricep. that's worse than i was expecting. either way, he's a total wuss. maybe this will lessen the "we HAVE to sign sheets" posts.
