I went to UWM. I liked it so much I went for about 6 1/2 years http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Have a great time. Not sure if you're living on campus or not... but I lived in the dorms my first two years and then got a house with some buddies... best years of my life. I'm only 26 now but I still feel like 18-21ish was my "prime". Enjoy it.

Hi guys. I'm in a rock'n'roll / power pop type of band in Milwaukee and we have an album coming out in early September. Some of our major influences are the Replacements, Tom Petty, the Beatles, Ryan Adams, The Cure, and many more. You can hear 3 songs from the new album here: thesaltshakers.com and here: myspace.com/thesaltshakers The CD release show is Saturday 9/08 @ Mad Planet in Milwaukee.. and every person that goes to that show gets a free copy of the album. Thanks for listening to anyone that took the time to. I appreciate it. I post a bit in the Brewer related forums but mostly lurk here... but I'm trying to get the word out about the new album, so thanks for checking it out. Go Brewers. (added tag --1992)

Why do you think we have Vargas after this year? sports.espn.go.com/mlb/ne...id=2747434 Was that an extension and it's just not mentioned? I swear I remember him signing just a one year deal in the offseason.
  7. chadomac
Vargas is only signed through this year, soooo... he will NOT be back here next year if he isn't traded midseason.
  8. chadomac
wow. i am listening to the game... and now i REALLY want to see that collision.

suppan's gotten very lucky, we're lucky it's not 4-2 or 5-2 right now. he has no control today.

I wish I liked the 2K games... 2K6 was terrible... 2K7 was better but I still love MVP 05. I can't wait til 2012 for another good baseball game. I think I'm going to have to end up creating about 9 players for my MVP 05 game. Junior Spivey, Russel Branyan, and Wes Helms just aren't cutting it.

can you do that mod to your gamecube? i love MVP 2005 but the brewers roster is SO different... so I was thinking of possibly doing that if i can.

What's the deal with Sparky saying that Gabe Gross is Ned Yost's "favorite" and because of that plays him all the time? I'm pretty sure Gabe has started 3 games this year. He has hardly played at all.

Is that new New Pornos album out now?
  14. chadomac
sounds good to me. i'll take pretty much anyone to get rid of that guy.
  15. chadomac
Why do you have to limit his innings? So he doesn't get burnt out in his first year? Just curious, I don't get it and I've heard this mentioned a lot on this board.
  16. chadomac
i say capellan a 7 run lead is the only team you can bring him in.
  17. chadomac
"Ned's on the phone. I don't think he's ordering a sandwich." That made me laugh.

1 Hart RF 2 Hardy SS 3 Braun 3B 4 Fielder 1B 5 Jenkins LF 6 Hall CF 7 Weeks 2B 8 Estrada C 9 Pitcher If Weeks would start hitting I'd prefer him 3rd and move Braun down to 5.

i'm starting to go to the darkside... i don't want to... but i can't keep the optimism going much longer... we cannot score runs... ugh...
  20. chadomac
    whoo!
  21. chadomac
Yeah, we have great depth, but we still have too many outfielders. I would love to ditch Mench asap.
  22. chadomac
do you guys really think Braun will be up in 12 days? Why 12 days? I hope you're right, I'm just wondering why you think it'll be in 10 or 12 days or whatever.
  23. chadomac
how is spurling's era soooo low when he sucks soooo much?
  24. chadomac
There's no way they move Jenkins. They will probably move Mench because is not very good at playing baseball and we don't need him.
  25. chadomac
Jenkins has a 9 million dollar team option. I really doubt we'll pick it up. Mench is a free agent.
