4:20 pm cst-- I just called the County Rec Dept. Weather hot line and and as of this moment, all games are still scheduled to be played.

Stay tuned for game updates. From the Weather Underground Look for areas of showers and isolated thunderstorms to affect portions of south central and southeast Wisconsin this afternoon. A broken line of showers and isolated thunderstorms is located from a Sheboygan...to Waubeka...to Waukesha...to Big Bend line...moving north northeast at 30 mph. This line will reach a Belgium...to Port Washington...to Glendale...to Wind Lake line by 345 PM. Brief heavy rainfall rates of one half to three quarters of an inch per hour and isolated lightning strikes are possible with the strongest storms. A larger area of showers and embedded thunderstorms is located over northeast Illinois. These showers are gradually pushing into southeast Wisconsin...and should begin to affect the Milwaukee and Racine areas between 345 and 400 PM. Brief...heavy downpours may accompany this activity through the afternoon commute. &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Tonight Cooler. Mostly cloudy with chance of showers... isolated thunderstorms early in the evening...then partly cloudy in the late evening and overnight. Areas of fog in the late evening and overnight. Lows in the upper 50s. South winds 5 to 10 mph early in the evening becoming light. Chance of rain 30 percent.Weather Underground

If I hear Neddy call His new third baseman "Brawny" in a post game interview or anything, I'm taking a roll of paper towels to the game.
  5. brewerjamie15
Having Braun up is great. I think that Neddy should make a Rule: When Brauny fields a ball that is not to be a force at third, he is not allowed to throw at all. This will save errors. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Jimbo- Thanks again for the work you put into box scores and stats. We all appreciate the effort.

Put me down for the intro to Sesame Street.

We came within one at one point with a nice inning. We held on for a bit and had them on the ropes but we fell apart in the last inning. Nice job pitching Matt. Perhaps I could have not given them a game ball to use and they would have had to forfeit. That's not the Brewerfan way to get a win though. Nice job you guys.

I called Sijan Field and checked to see if games were still on. The games are still on as of 5:50 pm. See you all at the park.
  10. brewerjamie15
I called the weather hot line and as of now, the games are all still on and will be played. If there are any changes I will post them asap.
  11. brewerjamie15
Ok. Just let me know when it's going to happen so I can get real drunk.
  12. brewerjamie15
I don't think I have as much of a problem with JJ being -out- of the lineup as Cappy being -in- it after that first inning. That was terrible.
  13. brewerjamie15
That was a great first inning. Cappy looks good. I'm going to watch the rest of the game sitting on pins and needles.
  14. brewerjamie15
Here's how the defense will look for the game: SS- My94rt (all game) P- Valpo (all game) 3b- Bball (all game) LF- Houlie (all game) LC- AJ (all game) 1b- Rightomatic (all game) RC- Colbyjack (all game) 2b- Nullbyte/ Jamie C- (1,2) ICN (3,4) Brian 5-6-7 (Robin 19) RF- Jimbo/ Radman

This is nuts. If we tried that, we'd be laughed off the field. I think people would remember it though...
  16. brewerjamie15
    I'm in. See ya there.

Jim Powell mentioned this thread on the air during his broadcast. Thanks for the plug Jim. A no-no would have been great, but that was still one heck of a start.
  18. brewerjamie15
I can't make it to the game on Friday for the Molitor bobble. If someone wants $15 for it, lemmie know. I'd like one for my Brewers collection.
  19. brewerjamie15
Not complaining, but man, this new TV announcer is pretty boring. I wish Daron were still here. He was fun to listen to most of the time.
  20. brewerjamie15
A Brewers win is guaranteed for this evening. If I'm wrong, the first one to PM me about it gets a free T-shirt.
  21. brewerjamie15
    My job sucks.
  22. brewerjamie15
Batting order starts at the top of the order. This will be the standard all season long. Batting order will remain the same unless otherwise noted.
  23. brewerjamie15
Good game tonight. We beat a pretty solid team. White House was pretty good last season and will be the same this year. Those guys make plays and hit the ball well. We didn't give up a lot of walks, we made plays on defense, and kept putting the ball in play. Sound game all around. Good job guys. Looks like we didn't let the Madison team down and made the two teams 1-0.

I am putting this in a new thread due to the fact that it just may not be seen in the other thread. Keep all game comments to that thread and then ask your questions of me at the game since I won't be internet accessible until after the game. Does anyone have a ticket stub from the game when Prince and Rickie hit thier first HRs? Oddly enough, that was a Brewerfan.net Fan Fest Game.
