No, seriously, I'm blasted. Drunk. Blitzed. Hammered. Gone. Smashed. Tatered. Ripped. Anything else you can think of.

I'm Trashed!

Fair enough. I'll add more newspaper links but it'll take a day or two; I'll be busy for a bit.

Actually, I'm not too convinced that we'd need links to more than one newspaper for each team, they will all say the same thing generally. Perhaps in effort to save space on topics that are pinned or stickied to the top of the forum, we could just add these media links to the MLB Fan Sites that JoeH33 created (if he's cool with that). This would be a very valuable resource area for all of us. Perhaps we could even add a few more links to other sites such as Retrosheet, baseball almanac, etc. I'd have to say it seems like a good idea. If someone wants other sites on the page, lemmie know via inbox. Colbyjack- I'm sorry, but I forgot the link for whom you are working.

Here's a handy list of links for newspapers in baseball cities. I've tried to keep all sites off the list that require registration. Hopefully, this will give you the opportunity to see what other teams are saying about us, or themselves. Guess that sounded childish and like a tempertantrum. I didn't mean for that to be the case. My bad.

Ok, looks like that idea went absolutely nowhere.

New Link Sorry about that, it was in an administration area that I have protected so only I can see it. I forgot about that. Moved the link.

I've often wished that on BF.Net we had a list of links to newspapers from other baseball cities so we could follow what teams are saying about us or themselves. I have a small site of my own (mostly for family pics) and on it I've created such a list in hopes of being able to have the links posted here. Perhaps this could be a refrence item we could have posted, stickied, and locked down or put into another area so it could be accessed year round (off season moves) Lemmie know what you guys think. I've been a very good boy lately. I have not made it to the drunk thread in a long time. I did go out last night arond 2 a.m. but just for two beers and then back home.

...arrogance and deception. <-- A man's ego or lack of morality are not reasons to keep him out of the HOF. It's about what the man did on the field, not about his personality. If Pete's -personality- is what holds you from voting him in, you may also want to look at guys who were womanizers or morally corrupt in other ways that are already in the hall.

Pete Rose Bet on baseball as a manager, we all know that. It has not been proven that he bet on baseball as a player. Pete Rose the Manager should be banned from the game forever, Charlie Hustle the player belongs in the HOF untill proven that he bet on the game as a player, and I'll give you 4,256 reasons why. Put him in the hall. Untill it's proven that Rose bet on his games as a player, you can not deny him the HOF.

He should have pulled a Peter Brown. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif

I'm sitting here watching the Brady Bunch and it's 3:30 a.m. I'm GP'd to the big time. Mike and Greg are typing out a screenplay for a Pilgrim movie, and Carol is smiling while leaning over Mike's shoulder. Alice the devout 9th party of this family structure, is waaring night cream on her face as she leans over the counter connecting the TV room and the kitchen. Alice is also sporting hair curlers, and a blue robe which is only partially closed, featuring her pajama top.

This being the night before Thanksgiving, I wonder how many people will post to this thread tonight.

I swear to you guys: I didn't find the drunk thread, it found me! I went to visit my friend who owns a bar for one or two beers. I had my one or two and then stayed for several more. No way it could be my fault. The hell with it. I'm going to bed.

I sure as heck hope that he'll get close to the same results next year. I'd have to say that we'd have a front three to match most in the majors. Sheets Cap DD

Well, I didn't go buy popsicles, but -I am- drunk. I'm drunk because I drank beers. I wasn't over served, I just over ordered. I'm going to bed.

Closed on a Friday? No way. It's open tonight though, I'll be therehttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif . I know it's closed on Sundays and Tuesdays.

I just did d the 5,000th view of the drunk thread1/2. I'm going to bed.

I predicted I'd be visiting this thread, and I was right. I'm gp'd big time. We need a beer emoticon for this thread......

9/22? That was my last post to the drunk thread? I'm sorry guys, I slacked off. I can honestly assure you though-I innocently went to watch the game with some friends and play some chess. These so called "friends of mine" had beer in the house so I, being the responsible citizen I am, decided it may propose a poblem. In an effort to make sure the 'fridge was not too full of beer (taking away room for vegetables) so I drank as much as I could. At this stage of the game, I'm GP'd and eating Merkt's cheese on Ritz crackers with some nice summer sausage.

Ok. I've had time to digest the Pittsburgh series. I feel better now. I had hoped for between 74 to 78 wins this year. We got 81. We broke a 12 year skid of losing. We played above my expectations. When's the last time you felt the right to be selfish about the Brewers? Ironically enough, when teams improve and show a bright future, fans get selfish. This is yet another sign that Brewer fans believe. I'm not going to let a loss to the Pirates get me down, I'm going to look back on a great season and look towards October baseball as a possibility next year. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
