    My take on the Braun hating by PIT, CHC, and STL is that they just get a little pissed because he's good. Kinda like how some of us don't care for Pujols.

    I guess its better than before.... But on the family friendly thing vs. having a stein - The team is named the Brewers, the park is named Miller Park, guys are yelling "Beer Here", theres a big Miller ad in center, the mascot is a beermaker. etc. I don't see how having a stein to slide into is a big deal.

    But just for those in college already and have done the loan process. Do I have to take out the Stafford loan now and before school starts or is it something I can wait and take it when I for sure need it. It probably isn't that big of a deal to take it out right now I guess, since I'm going to need them probably for sure.

    Alot of you know that I'm going to UW-Madison in the fall. Right now I've been getting emails and letters about financial aid. Neither of my parents went to college so we are all new on this stuff. I was offered a $5,500 unsubsidized Stafford Loan. I'm figuring I'm going to have to take a loan out eventually, but is this something I can wait on and take a loan out when I need it? Because I got a letter in the mail telling me to accept or decline the loan online. I dont have too much saved up for college, around about $5,000. I'm guessing I'll get around $2500 in local scholarships for next year as well. And I don't expect my parents to help me out too much, nor do I really want them to. I will be working this summer and probably during school as well. So basically how am I going to make up for the $20,000 UW costs a year and when do I start worrying about loans and stuff? And what to do on the stafford loan offered?

    This umpire really gets into his strike 3 calls, Hoffman has been awesome so far this year. He sure gets alot of K's for throwing only 87 mph. Doesn't matter when you hit your spots like he does and have a great changeup. Did he throw harder when he was in his prime?

    The way I took it is everyone gets randomly assigned a priority number, then they go down your list and you get the highest one available.

    I've always noticed it, home fans have always seemed to boo the away team when they try picking off the runner. Doesn't make any sense to me.

    brewdude, Taking a look back at this huge thread, I was clueless my junior year as to what I was going to do. I'd pick out a bunch of schools you are interested in and go on their websites and request information and reserve visits for the summer. You can do this all online. As to retaking the ACT, If you feel you could do better, I would definitely retake it. Especially if you didn't finish a section because of the time, because thats something you can fix and improve on. Alot of my friends went up around 2 or 3 points the second time they took it. As for my housing I'm going to probably go random, I haven't had much luck on facebook. I think I'm set on going Ogg as my #1, take my chances there. And Liz Waters as number 2. Then after that I'm undecided between Sellery/Witte and the Lakeshore dorms. Whats the best Lakeshores besides Liz Waters? Kronshage and Schlicter?

    I'm still pretty unsure of my dorm rankings.... On one hand I really like the location of the SE dorms and they seem like a ton of fun. But on the other hand, I live way out in the country and it will take me a while to get used to the city so would lakeshore be a better fit? On Sat I was on campus for State FFA Judging and me my friends walked around lakeshore and that seemed pretty cool as well.

    Well I'm trying to find a roommate on facebook right now and try to find a roommate with similar interests......I don't know if I want to go the completely random route, I've heard some horror stories. This is the way I have them ranked right now....Could change depending if I find a roommate or not, or if you guys talk me into changing 1. Ogg 2. Elizabeth Waters 3. Sellery 4. Witte 5. Kronshage 6.
