Whats up with Arod in that interview with Peter Gammons? Either he's stealing some of Madonna's lipstick or he's got some very bright lips. Also the only reason he is coming clean about his steroid use is because he was CAUGHT. Theres no way he comes out like this if nobody comes out. Remember that. -
The sports are about even anyways between the two. At Marquette I got MU basketball, and the Brewers. At UW I got Badger football, basketball, and hockey (not a big hockey fan, but love going to the games) And I plan to try out for the club baseball team at either school. As to where I'm from- basically the middle of nowhere. North-central Wisconsin in a small town of around 200. Go to school at a school of 425, so city life is going to be a huge change. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I think I've narrowed my decision down........ Its between Marquette and UW-Madison I visited Marquette this weekend, and I really liked it. As of right now it is probably now my top choice. Scholarships from Marquette have brought the cost down comparable to Madison. And just visiting campus/talking with students/alum it really is impressive, and I really like the feel of campus, and I would definitely be happy there. And I haven't even been accepted to Madison yet....I got postponed in December, and I would say I'm far from a lock to get in. When/if I get in I'll head down for another visit. The Badger fan in me wants to go to Madison, along with basically my entire life my family and I assumed it would be where I'd go. But deciding on a college is alot more than the athletics. But basically I wont be able to make a choice until if I get accepted to Madison, and how I like my next visit. It will be a really hard choice, or easy if I get denied.

I read Cal Ripken's book a couple years ago..... I recall him saying how he never really got into weightlifting while he was in baseball, and thought how strong you were wasn't really a big deal.

I got a new vizio for christmas..... its a 26 in 1080p and I just use it for XBOX mainly. How can I get local HD channels. When I scan for channels I don't pick up anything. Do I need an antenna or a one of these boxes or what?

Well its looking like Marquette or UW-Madison right now.....Thinking about Political Sci, History, International Affairs, or something in the social studies field. Basically I use a computer for surfing the web, downloading music (itunes), and every once in a while play a strategy game like CIV, otherwise I rarely play games on the computer.

Well I'm thinking of buying a laptop. I'd like to buy a decently nice one..... I will be using it for college next year. But the big question is, should I get a PC or a MAC. I've always had a PC, and am pretty good with them. But it seems that PC's seem to get really slow within 2 years, and viruses are a problem. Ive never really used a MAC, but I hear they are pretty awesome. What about models? I'm far from an expert on computer specs. I'm not much of a computer gamer. Should I get one of those where you can write on the screen. Does this work well for college taking notes? What about RAM, GB, etc? Thanks

Guys are complete idiots, look up the guys charged in Wisconsin court records. A few idiots ruin it for everyone. It seems every time I see a sign on the trail such as "Stay on trail or stay home" or "Stay on trail or trail will be closed" or "Stay on Trail New Seeding" some idiot has to go ride all over the field.

I'm going to be doing the FAFSA for the first time.... My parents said they don't get their 2008 taxes until February. Does everyone wait that long to do them or what do you use then?

This morning I think I accidently clicked on a pop up ad or something that looked like a Windows box and immediately my AVG went crazy. Threat detected...etc. Got tons of pop up ads on firefox etc. Now I restored the computer, but my restore acted funny, only one restore point- that said "Last time computer worked properly". The virus is still there, Trojan downloader, trojan horse agent. And my AVG isnt working right anymore either. Help what should i do
