Per Brian Anderson, Parra has officially been moved to the pen and McClung is back in the rotation -
So let's say we do the 4 man rotation and we get to the playoffs. Our chances would be about zero of advancing because Sheets and CC will have to go to the Artificial Intelligence Sector and get robotic arms. Don't do it.

I was and still am in the camp that Prince should be traded next year and we should either go with Nelson or Gamel next year at 1B. We are going to be desperate for pitching next year and Prince is exactly the type of player that could bring in pitching, and at the same time we can improve our IF defense tremedously by trading Prince. Brad Nelson is going to be on our 25 man roster in 2009 so why not give him a chance at 1B? -
If it's going to be someone, why not Gwynn. Let's Go!

I don't mind the move. We are desperate in the pen right now and Nix has been a non factor. If I remember correctly, Coffey throws with pretty good velocity. His walk rate is pretty low and his career ERA is 4.62 in 206 IP. You can't get much better than that off the street. -
Flights to Atlanta are expensive these days.
