  1. I agree - that was pretty entertaining I enjoyed it too. He was very well spoken.
  2. Yep, his zone has been pretty good though, so I suppose it is what it is.
  3. Don't think he would have had him anyways, so it was probsbly more to the cut, but it also didn't look like he set himself up much.
  4. Pitch 3 was a strike that wasn't called. That doesn't help either.
  5. Lighting today stinks. Villar hit it solid right into a mini shift.
  6. Also done with Sogard... I keep going back to the transactions thread discussing 2b. I've always hated Brandon Phillips, but I'd give him 2b right now. DFA Sogard and Villar and bring up Taylor Williams. Let's get crazy and overreact. Just DFA Villar? Seems silly. Guy has had some solid at bats I think.
  7. I couldn't understand it either. His pitch count wasn't obscene, just let him finish the damn inning, he had 2 out. Instead you not only cough up the lead but double switch arguably your worst player into the game. Just dumb. Probably a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. If he gives up a hit to Baez then many would complain that he shouldn't have been removed. I could see it both ways. Not sure one was correct without hindsight.
  8. Tired of Sogard too. Mental lapses...giving extra vases. We probably don't deserve to best the Cubs. Every at bat looks like such a grind for Milwaukee.
  9. He was at like 37 pitches and was up and down twice...probably not an awful idea. Just didn't work out. Not entirely sure Baez didn't swing on that curve in the dirt, but what can ya do?
  10. Based on 2 starts this year? He's a career 3.49 ERA through 17 starts. When has he ever been absolutely shelled at the major league level? Even tonight he should have given up 2 runs without the errors and bad decision from Braun. Credit him with maybe 3 at most, that will win more often than not, and he hasn't located well at all even. I really don't understand the hatred for him from a lot of posters. He doesn't throw hard. Obviously.
  11. LOL. Kapler doesn't actually know anything about analytics, does he? I read the word optimizing a lot and I don't think he knows what that word means.
  12. Kind of. I've looked at season long velocity as well as month to month. Yes it is early, but still bothersome if the trend continues.
