It makes sense that more people are willing to buy food if it's cheaper, thus you sell more and end up making more. I also like that their prices already include tax.

I have done the same with charter 3 or 4 times. I pay 90 or so a month on their deal and suddenly it goes up to 150. So I call and threaten to leave and they call my bluff, so I don't because I'm too lazy. However, I am calling next week to legit cancel because of apps, Netflix, Hulu, etc. It's crazy I can pay 160 a month and they refuse to lower the price when I've been a customer for 12 years.

I never bet NBA...but I see Houston plus 6.5 at Dallas. I think, okay, seems safe enough. Up 18 with 2 30 to play and win by 7... Also...has anyone else been keeping an eye on these Badger lines? If the line is less than 15 against MSU I think it's a gimme.

I don’t mind it...until they get something “right” and expect some kind of praise etc. There was that guy last year or the year before where his attitude wasn’t worth any information. Was that the PronceFielderXx1 guy? Nope. I think it was wetbutt or something like that. Princefielder said the Brewers would for sure make the playoffs or he would let his account get banned or something. They missed the playoffs and I haven't seen him since.

It could be part of other moves. Just because we trade for Ellsbury doesn't mean he will be on the opening day roster.

It's possible they didn't want to trade him within the division. If there are two comparable offers would you take the one where it's a team you'll play often or the other? While that is the conventional wisdom, I just don't think it matters as much as some do. When you trade a player at the start of a rebuild does it really matter if you help a team in your division for the short term? You aren't winning anyway so what does it matter? In a way it is better to trade within the division when starting a rebuild. That way you weaken a division rival's farm which should make them worse in a few years when you are ready to compete. I think the whole don't trade in your division thing is overblown in general but even more so at the start of a rebuild. Perhaps. I think of two offers are the same they probably aren't going to trade within the division. If be curious on the amount of trades the brewers have done within the division.

Haha. I enjoy betting because I get an excuse to look and dig deeper into stats, and I love stats. A lot of the 'easy' money can be found in the lower levels of the NCAA. Everyone thinks they can bet the teams they are most familiar with, but that's typically wrong. I did pretty well betting the over whenever Wily pitched and have done well betting against Wisconsin this year, but I uaually don't do well betting baseball or betting badger games.

I would agree on Atlanta, but I don't trust Foles one bit. Philly D is tough, but again, Foles. If the line was around 6 or 7 I probably wouldn't touch it, but since its 2.5 I feel good that Atlanta can hit on that one. BTW, I am up around 600 betting Wisconsin Basketball this year. Early in the year their lines were way off and even now they are getting a ton of favorable lines...for taking the opponent.

I agree. They may not have won, but I truly believe they would have been good games against any of the top 3....or 4 if you include clemson.

Not that it matters, but in the final AP poll UCF jumped to number 6 and Wisconsin dropped to 7. Ha. To me, the system is broken.

I have had a nagging cold/sinus issue where I feel off all of the time. It's like my eyes are constantly trying to catch up to what I am looking at.

This, this, and this. The national championship was Georgia vs. Oklahoma. Clemson loses to a 4-8 team and gets in, Wisconsin loses to the #5 team in the country and doesn't get in. I still want to know what the W/L record is for top-10 teams for home night games over the last three years. Wisconsin didn't just win their bowl game, they won a night road game against a top-10 team. Know how this gets solved? It's simple. 1) Don't lose to OSU when it counts (again) 2) Don't schedule Florida Atlantic (2017), New Mexico (2018), Kent State (2019), Southern Illinois (2020). There literally is not a legitimate NC game until 2020 with Notre Dame. Sure you can't predict BYU would be horrible when you scheduled them, but some of these other cupcakes are a total waste of time. We don't need Alabama on the schedule, but a respectable mid major or usually lower ranked school would be a serious + for our resume yearly, especially with us being in the weaker half of the conference. Play a road game if nobody wants to come to Madison. Alabama basically proved you don't need to schedule above average teams to get into the playoff. Or maybe, we are always competing for one of the other 3 spots.

Bye before LSU and the citadel before Auburn. They aren't even trying to hide the fact that their schedule is a cupcake.

Winner. This is what I've been trying to say for three posts now. Jason Kidd may be a great motivator and his team clearly plays for him, but as an in-game coach...he leaves a LOT to be desired. Find it especially weird since he played the game for so long. It seems like he is trying to make something out of nothing. Like he's trying to be the next in game genius...but it comes off as dumb.

Agree. Sky isn't falling for me, but if the Cubs make one more bold move, I just think that waiting it out one more year to see what we have makes sense. That isn't to say we still couldn't compete with the Cubs anyways. They could still sign Neil Walker, one of the expensive pitchers, or a reliever and I'm cool with it. Just don't mess with the farm system. I think 2019 we'll either have a very known, promising group and proceed accordingly or sitting back in 2018 will be a blessing in disguise if we find out that some of the guys like Shaw or Thames were fool's gold and that we need to retool anyways. This is my feeling as well. I think the success of last season(which was great) may be hard to replicate. The offense was pathetic the 2nd half and I have a feeling that that is closer to the true talent level they truly had. -
