  1. This would be really funny.
  2. Heard this morning the cheapest ticket for the first game in Montreal is 11k Canadian!
  3. Nice work! Weight loss takes commitment, congrats! Hopper, sounds like we were in a similar place. Hit my goal weight this week. Took me a year and 3 months, but I went from 230 to 175. Haven't been at this weight since college, and that was almost 40 years ago. Waist from 38 to 32. Neighbor asked my daughter if I had been sick, so I think that means I'm doing something right? Intermittent Fasting 16/8, running or Orangetheory six days a week, counting calories, and here's the most impactful: I haven't had sugar since January. Now, the tough part: maintenance. I got down to 195 last year, took a tumble and hurt myself running in October, and in what seemed like a flash, was back up to 213 in January. Am very not bugged about where I am now. Summer has been tough for me! I'm still at 196ish, but I have been finding it harder to get out and about watching two kids every day and have found myself snacking more often, but I've done a pretty good job staying away from sugar and I havent been putting on weight. I had a goal of 180 by september, but I dont think I'll hit that unless I really buckle down. I think the other part is I have felt so good that it doesnt make me feel like I need to keep losing weight. My weight is always kind of weird because I have a pretty athletic/thick lower half from my hockey days, so sometimes that can be deceiving. I can see my chin like again and I dont hurt after running, so those are two plusses.
  4. There are a few good twitter accounts to follow that have the heads up on releases. I scored a ps5 with The Show last week. Supposed to arrive this week.
  5. Yea, unfortunately I didnt get into live music until after Wayne had passed, so my first time seeing them was those 2 shows. One in illinois and one at the Rave. Was awesome though. Wife offered to go to Daytona Beach for our Wedding Anniversary this year. It's over Novemeber 11th and the rock festival down there has a solid lineup, but I'm not really in the mood to see Metallica twice as they are headlining two days. I have seen them before and they are good, but I dont know. Also Nine Inch Nails is headlining one day and I dont care for them much.
  6. That's awesome news. Keep it up! The FIL got diagnosed type 2 and changed diet and cut soda and ice cream completely. He is now off meds but will still keep an eye on his numbers if he does decide to have some pizza or whatever.
  7. Nice work! Weight loss takes commitment, congrats! That's the truth. The first 20 went quick. Next 10 a challenge. Had to up the cardio and then I've done some intermittent fasting that I've seen people here mention. Both seem to work well together. Weekends are more challenging because I'm with my kids and wife all day typically.
  8. Excellent! Do you need to change your bf.net name now? Ha! Kind of a double meaning I suppose. I went to UW-Stout, but I wasn't so stout when I attended! Well, maybe the last few years.
  9. I've lost 30 pounds. Saw 200 today and have lost 6 inches on my waist.
  10. One of my buddies got in Doge at .036 and is now worth over 20k. Another threw in 200$ and is now worth 8k. Both told me I should get in. I didn't. Whoops.
  11. Caufield with 2 GWG in OT in back to back games. Stud. Tom Wilson. Dirt.
  12. Good point. I have cable because I insist on being able to watch live Brewers/Wild/Badgers, etc. I also pay for Netflix and Prime. One of my buddies has Hulu and another HBO max. We all share and I get access to the others. That's been nice. My buddies used to be able to use my Spectrum password as well, but I am not sure they are still able. If it wasn't for the Brewers...I would probably ditch cable. It is annoying that I have been a customer for 17 years and all I've gotten is a bill thats gone up around 70+ bucks.
  13. Caufield debut tonight.
  14. I thought it came out that Toews did have some serious medical condition? I may be misremembering.
  15. Nice - This made me check again. Nobody IS playing Friday and Saturday now. I must have looked before they had the theatres finalized or something.
  16. Mudvayne is back. And the only time I was more excited was when Static-X announced their return.
  17. Went to see a movie a few weeks ago...just to get out of the house. Nobody was in the preview - wife looked at me and said, 'that probably would have been fun to watch.' I was surprised she said that. Bummed me out because I did want to see it but didn't think she would enjoy it. Fast forward to today. I look to see if Nobody is playing this weekend in Sun Prairie - it isn't. Ugh. I believe you can rent it at home for like $20. Not the same as a theater but these days it's nice just to have something of quality to watch. I did see that, but I don't want to drop 20 when it's basically the same price as the theater. At least with a theater we might grab some snacks(the wife anyway) or some different dinner before hand. Typically our moving going experiences is our date night. Dinner, movie, drinks, etc. Thats half the fun!

  19. Well, well, well...how the turntables. I am surprised UMass won, now I hope they win the final.
  20. Don't lose the power assuming you are playing with us again in softball. We need dingerz. Shows up to spring training in the best shape of his life, etc, etc.
  21. That sounds awesome, you too!
  22. Nice work. Keep it up! I’m working on my dad bod this year. The early Spring has been a blessing. I’ve been able to get out and walk most mornings. Usually, I’m stuck inside on the exercise bike until May. Thanks! I graduated HS at 145. Frosh year of college 160, Soph year at 175, and graduated at 190. Hovered around 190 for most of my 20s and early 30s. The last 2-3ish years(2 kids) and now with covid...hit the scale and saw 230. That was enough. Trying for 180 by eating better with less carbs, more veggies, and smaller portions, then the running/walking in the mornings/evenings after the kids are in bed. I had a goal to run 3 miles by the end of the month, but that may have been aggressive. I used to run 5 miles all the time with no issues, but man, my legs have been sore this weekend. Plus shin splints because I am sure my shoes are not perfect for running. The long walks have been sublime though.
  23. I have lost 15 pounds. 35 more to hit my goal of 50.
  24. Pretty sure you just pick your own. Dont know for a fact. My buddy that played pro overseas chose his own.
  25. Yea, its wild.
