I saw the Pirates making error after error against the Phil's. Meanwhile, Chavis picks a 95 mph short hop to save a run or two. Brewers kind of luck I suppose.

Also, some pitchers cant throw max effort for 10 pitches and then sit for 10 minutes and ramp it up again.

2 leagues - play everyone in your league 7 times and the other 15 4 times. 158 game season. Top 2 get the bye and the next 4 the wild cards series 3 games.

That's a fine opinion - one ball was off the end of the bat through and opening. The other was a blooper, and the last one was a 4 hopper through the infield. The balls were not hit hard. That would make them soft or weak hits. That was my only point. You keep coming back to this like I'm saying they werent hits and it is an odd thing to keep bringing up. Just like the infield single to Urias...that was a weak hit.

350, 510, and 370 3 of the 4 lowest percentages for hits in the game. The other was Urias double in the first at 350 - which was also a weak hit/poor defense.

No one is denying a hit is better than a hard hit out or at what angle. People are simply pointing out that a softer hit ball is more often an out.
